Barkley gets in really good positions in between the lines but needs to work on the final ball/shot.
Yeah agree with that. Barkley was arguably our best player first half. But all three of our midfielders failed and Barkley had that lack of concentration that even Rio had early in his Utd career. Watch this space

Couldn't agree more about lasy night, mane had him on toast. Continually diving in and getting turned. That being said mane is in great form and rapid. Hopefully he learns from it and makes adjustment's for Saturday

Poor lastnight, but still been our best defender this year.
I think the defence massively struggled last night, the sooner Rudiger is back the better. Say what you want about Luiz but he dragged them into some sort of shape when he came on last night. Really miss his leadership when he doesn't play
Yeah I noticed that, thought he played well when he came on, and looked fired up.
Getting caught out by Mane is no disgrace, jet heeled that man.
Luiz was excellent when he came on.
I hope you Christensen lovers watched the game last night, makes a big mistake every time he plays.
Didn't think Cahill played too badly.

I thought emerson was great lastnight.
I like Emerson and reckon he should play more for thr first team and Alonso should be rested.Also Christensen needs to be played more regularly and Luiz is quite inconsistent.

Yeah Fab was excellent first half. This formation allows him to play deeper when other managers/systems wouldn’t allow it and have a more traditional DM. Now he has a role not playing more advanced we can squeeze a few more years out of him

Perfect for EL and domestic cup games. He should get time and pace vs lesser opposition.
If there is an injury concern with Jorginho, we got Fab to fill in and he can do a job. Played a beauty of a pass to Morata, if that was a decent striker we would have scored.
We will be better off with Jorginho starting agst Liverpool on Saturday. But with 20 mins to go, if Liverpool tire and go no longer press then perfect to bring Fab on and win the game for Chelsea.
It would be interesting to see Fab and Jorginho in a traditional 4231, Yes they are both defensively suspect but to see if they could really dictate and control the game even more so than we tend to.

I have a man crush on Kovacic. But he will need to get some goals.
I agree if Kovačić could finish we would have a real world class player on our hands. He reminds me of Hazard sometimes I have to look twice to realise who it is.
