Agree, not looking great for the youngsters. I'm hoping they'll play at home in the Europa League as the opposition is pretty shocking.
Don't know where RLC was last night either but can see him leaving in January

Whilst in Empoli, Sarri brought few youngsters through, probably out of the necessity, who ended up playing for bigger clubs in Seria A. The same can’t be said about his time at Napoli, mainly relied on established players. One of the criticisms levied on him whilst at Napoli, was that he did not rotate as much.
Sarri needs to learn how to rotate and should trust the younger players to be involved in lesser competitions. They are at a stage of their development that they need minutes to progress in their careers. Hudson, Ampadu and RLC are good enough to play at that level imo.
I can understand why Sarri is not in hurry to use youngsters, so early in the season. He wants to get to a good start, which in fairness he has. Let’s hope he starts giving our youngsters more minutes in the pitch in a near future
Win in opening Europa game was crucial.
With 3 easy home games coming up we've all but topped the group already. Hudson Odoi and Ampadu game time incoming
Ampadu not even on the bench.......jeez why did Sarri block a loan move to rams if he won’t even have in the squad for the weakest cup competition.
Just look at Mount, thriving with us, getting lots of game time and even been looked at by Southgate.
Poor form that from Sarri.

Yesterday’s game was against a good Pool team tbf, But Ampadu and Hudson should have been involved against a poor side in the Europa league.
In all honesty Flash, I'm just glad to be winning consistently and playing some good football to boot !. I am also sure that the young guys will be given a chance when Sarri is more comfortable with his squad, and also himself !,after all he has still only been here just over a couple of months.
Well done Maurizio ,we're right behind you .
Sarri will pick the route that best enable his brand of football. Age regardless, if a player fits the style he'll play (e.g. Barkley) if he doesn't he won't (e.g. Loftus-Cheek), it's that simple.
There were positives and negatives from taking the decision to appoint Sarri, one of the negatives was youth integration wouldn't be on the agenda - if it happens it'll be consequential.
If we had had a full preseason with Sarri here then I would be worried. The fact we had maybe 2 weeks means I am hoping we will see some changes re Mickey mouse\euro cups come mid October/ November. If after that and nothing then the youngsters should worry.
How does RLC not fit Sarri's style of play whrn he has not even played much for Sarri as a Chelsea player.

It isn't a necessity for Ampadu and Hudson Odoi (yet), they are already further ahead than most people at that age by being a fulltime member of the first team squad.

I will reserve judgement on Sarri's youth policy until the middle of next season.
Judging by the results of the Napoli youth side, not even the most pro youth coach would have played them
Bellamy summed it up really. These coaches aren’t going to be at the club long enough to risk projects on youth players so need players they know, and trust, and ready made ones. Just how it is at the top clubs.
