Could probably do well in another system, would be happy for him to go if the price was right

Unfortunately he'd do very well under Sarri, who's very much likes football to be played the Wenger way but with much more organisation and discipline. And you'll get him dirt cheap as well.

No he’s World class now that he wants to leave
No I would rather see Chelsea give Mason Mount and CHO plus RLC a proper chance to stake a claim as first team players than signing Ramsey even though I used toblike him a few years ago as an Arsenal player.
Ramsey isn’t good enough on the ball for Sarri’s style of play. Wasn’t good enough on the for Wenger’s style either, but Wenger used him in a way which limited the amount of time he had on the ball. He would pose a similar problem as to what Kante is causing Chelsea now, except Ramsey is nowhere near as good off the ball.
Having said that, I do like Ramsey. There aren’t many midfielders out there with higher goal contributions.
imagine being injured so much and still trying to fack the club over that supported you, hope we steer well clear.
Interesting views from everyone.
I agree, Sideshow - I think it would make the Barkley signing redundant. But then again, I think Ramsey is better than Barkley so I don't see that as a problem.
In a year or two I imagine Mount will play in that Lampard role, so perhaps Ramsey wouldn't be needed. But there's no harm having him compete for a position when he'd be a free signing. He wouldn't necessarily be an automatic starter, but I still think he could play a part as we strengthen our squad.
Personally I'd give him the thumbs up.
Adam ,haven't you got a similar situation with Studge ?
I'd rather see Mount given his chance next season.

Just what we need...another middling midfield signing in addition to Bakayoko & Drinkwater that can't retain possession, blocks path, and is on a downward spiral.
Better off bringing Mikel back.
Not an area of priority right now, we need a striker and cb.
Ramsey spends most of the season injured
Barely an upgrade on Barkley. I think we would do better focusing on the talent with potential in our midfield right now , RLC, Mount and also Ross.
I guess on a free he’s not the worst signing in the world but a signing we would be making out of circumstance/opportunity and not really necessity or choice, one of the club’s failures recently in transfer market
You're forgetting the astronomical wages Ramsey would demand (on-par, if not more than Hazard), no thanks.
In that respect I trust the club not to be foolish, we're relatively safe with starting wages.

Gone to the dogs
For a Kovacic replacement, if we want to get actual quality with potential to improve, I’d love Ndombele from Lyon. But Kovacic on a perm would be better than him or Ramsey
