It's a shame about Ramsey. We have dross like Elneny at the club and a kid in Guendouzi, as well an average Xhaka.
If we sell we will have to go big in bringing in a CM
He seems to have a polarising effect on your fans. Some seem to really like him, but others seem to be vehement in their hatred.
I think he is an important player for us especially in Mf. We have no other MF who gives us goals and assist like him.
We are currently have one of the weakest midfields out of the top teams and if we get rid of Ramsey then it's barely in the top ten
Problem with our board is that we won't get in the necessary replacement.
It will cost in excess of £50M to get a top midfield player and knowing our board we will probably just get someone like Elneny to take up the role

I guess Unai has now cottoned onto the average player I discerned more than five years ago.
The only reason I can think of is that he and his agent were leveraging the club into giving him more money and I'm assuming they said he wouldn't sign unless they can improve terms.
The club gave him a take it or leave it offer, at which point, the agent tried to call the club's bluff and it backfired.
Can't think of any other logical reason as to why we'd take this deal off the table.

You don’t always need £50million to get good players; there are more where the likes of Kante and Mahrez were sourced.
We have scouts on our payroll; let them do their jobs👍
Same scouts have bought in Elneny and Xhaka of late.
Should have just signed Nzonzi in the summer
I think it's highly likely that Emery has told them that he has re-evaluated Ramsey and decided he's not worth a huge salary. I can't see another probable reason why they would withdraw their offer.
Now I happen to agree with that assessment, I think Ramsey has been bang average so far this season - but regardless of whether you agree that he's not been great, what other plausible reason is there for such a late withdrawal ?

He's always said he wants to play further forward he got his wish and he has been absolutely rubbish, really don't get why Ozil is not playing there. He won't be missed, I won't miss the horrible step overs and slow Cruyff turns that he dishes out every game that slows our play down.
Ramsey is the reason we’ve been also runs lately and must be sold in January to whoever wants him time to bring in the cavalry in Nzonzi and Eva Benega and revaluate in summer.

Ramsey is a good player bit quite inconsistent but should have been retaines by Arsenal as he is a great player when in full flow.I wantes him at Chelsea a few years ago but now I don't want Chelsea to sign him.
Gazidis certainly left this club in a mess by allowing our best players to run down their contracts and then having to let them go for nothing or paying way over the odds to keep them like Ozil, whilst giving bang average players like Elneny and Xhaka new long term contracts.
This is why we are in such a mess with Ramsey. He's only worth £150,000 a week at the most but he sees Ozil (admittedly a better player) on more than double that.
So pleased that that fraud Gazidis has gone . Feel sorry for the Milan fans. The question now is will the new men be given the money to strengthen our squad? Just like for the last 10 years we are always 3 men short of having a team that can challenge for the Prem.
