Probably 4th, our defence is being shown up to be extremely average this season. Our midfield has some sloth players and our attack is very dysfunctional.
i somewhat agree but when i compare martial and rashford with salah and mane, theyre equally as quick, skillful and atm wasteful
firmino does a lot of running around, pressing and creating space and obviously chips in with goals. Sanchez for all his wastefulness out wide would provide exactly the same level of effort and id back him to score more.
that was the logic.
I dunno, not many in your squad have won or even challenged for the title. Ours gets underrated by users on here even though we still have league champions throughout the team
Valencia and Young were in the last one you won?
United on paper have a better midfield and keeper. But defence and frontline Liverpool have better players.
Id take Mane and Salah over Rashford and Martial.
Lukaku or Sanchez over Firmino..
United’s squad is better on paper.
Even the front 3.
Sanchez-Lukaku-Rashford/Martial is better than Mane-Firmino-Salah by 2-1.

not really, the players mentioned have all the attributes and capability (for the most part) to be better man for man.
what theyre producing right now is way below their capability and the purpose of this was to discuss "on paper"

we're discussing the future post Jose, if you believe on paper your squad is stronger thats your opinion, im entitled to mine and seems quite a few agree.
right now at pool the sum is greater than the parts and the opposite is true of United. But i am trying to judge the parts not the sum..
The squad has in part been built by Jose. Whatever he is trying and failing to build. I'd expect a new manager to want change
No way is our front three better than Liverpool’s.
Too many players in the squad that should have been moved on in the summer.
Young, Jones, Groot, and Darmian should all have been shown the door.
But the squad and the first team is being mismanaged by Jose. He can not get the team selection right because he doesn't understand how to balance a team.
You can't have Matic and Fellaini in a midfield ever, it gives the advantage to the other team straight away.

but to your point id say on form Rashford and Martial are as good as Salah and Mane - equally as quick, tricky and wasteful and Sanchez could (and has) done the CF role better than firmino.

Sad the same thing to my Mrs when I saw the line up. I watched the golf instead.
IMO Jose was taking the pee out of the fans.
Van Dijk is comfortably better than our CB's
Mane would walk into our side
The young RB too would get in atm
It's not entirely about individual wuality. It's the skillset that a player brings that fits the implemented system. In that regard ManU is miles behind.
