Not embarrassing at all. The only thing embarrassing between the games last season was the cowardly display arsenal put in at anfield.

I agree with you. It was utterly shameful.

Unfortunately for you, we have a new manager and a better team now. And although we're not as good as you, we will certainly be much harder to beat than last year.

I'm surprised none of you were embarrassed that a midfielder as poor as Xhaka managed to score past you. It's not as if he scores a lot of goals for us. It wasn't even a hard shot to save either ffs.

We've actually got a decent defence and goalie now so you'll find it much harder to score against us. Whereas even Everton looked dangerous against your defence.

We kept a clean sheet that game so they weren't much of a threat. But you can hardly expect the opposition team not to pose a threat in 90 mins of football. If you think that any team mounting an attacking threat to your defence makes them "dangerous against your defence" then

Well they created chance after chance but fortunately for you they fluffed them all. I know our forwards are misfiring somewhat at the moment as well but if they're back on form by the time we face you then it could get ugly.

Everton are a decent side with a top class manager and a few decent players. They'll cause a few teams some problems for sure.

But lads if you want to use them as some kinda comfort blanket then go ahead. Doesn't distract from the OP that Keita has, so far, been a shocking purchase

But they got in behind you time and again. All I'm saying is your defence is still suspect to say the least. Whereas ours has improved drastically. I was originally replying to the person who said you would be much harder to beat this season than last season.

It's quite funny really.

For all the posturing by Liverpool fans, and for all the money their club has spent, they've achieved absolutely nothing. They've won nothing. They've been humiliated in pretty much every final they've been in since Klopp's taken over. And yet, their fans on here still seem to think like they're the best thing since sliced bread. The arrogance is phenomenal.

You'd think they would be a bit more humble, given how bad their lean period was from 2009 - 2013.

Even in our lean period, we've still managed to reach 4 domestic cup finals in 5 years (winning 3 of them) and our squad has FAR less work needed for us to get back to the top compared to when they had Downing, Spearing, Jovanovic, Konchesky, Adam, Babel, Ngog etc.

So, don't you guys be worrying about us too much. We'll be back mixing it with the best sooner than you realise

We'll probably actually win some more trophies as well. Something that you guys haven't really been able to do for the last decade or so.
