I would recommend we go for Angelina as a possible replacement. She’d would comfortably outscore Morata imo.

Missed the boat with Higuain. I would say Icardi but apparently he definitely won't leave Inter. There's a shortage of top strikers available honestly. Makes selling Costa look even worse (thanks Conte )

Immobile is a worthy choice not often mentioned. Werner is also still young and has for three seasons now a 1 in 2 record pretty good.

Kunta I like Immobile and I also like Cavani.None shall be signed by Chelsea.I like Belotti as well. All are big names. We can't even sign quality wingers like Fekir,Bailey or Pulisic.

No they didn't LSTD but you do get my point? We need a quality striker to score goals and we refused to sign Aguero and Godin in the past when that would have been brilliant for Chelsea for 5 million pounds. Now we will be needing 100 pound plus striker to fill the void which we could not fill after Drogba.

Welbeck available on a free at the end of the season??

Aguero definitely wasn’t 5m when we were after him! Neither are Fekir, Bailey or Pulisic. They’re also not strikers, they’re players in positions we don’t really need as priority, so not signing them for the 40-50m+ they were going to cost, seems fair to me!

Wasn’t much more than 12 months ago the club forked out 50-70m to solve the striker issue, it unfortunately just hasn’t worked out. Most were pretty pleased when we signed him though!

Hello fellow Chelsea fan. Morata will score 17 goals in all comps this season, just not at Chelsea

No LSTD Chelsea and Atletico Madrid were about 5 million pounds apart in their evaluations of the two players. For example,if Atletico wanted 55 million pounds for Godin and Aguero,Chelsea were willing to pay 50 million pounds for the pair and so forth.

I would really want Icardi to replace him. Cavant is also another great option. Or try and steal Firmino from Liverpool.

Fair enough Angelina, again though don’t think it’s a money issue as they spent 80m on Torres and Luiz instead!

It’s a case of picking the right targets rather than not trying to sign players when they’re needed

I'd love us to bring in Icardi. Never going to happen.

Maybe more realistic is we could bring in Meterns and play a combination of Hazard-Mertens-Willian/Ped

Fine LSTD and yes Juan Eden Zola I don't agree. We might sign Icardi if Sarri demands to sign him as we are still willing to spend 70 million pounds on signing goal-keepers.I am sure we shall spend 80 or 85 million pounds to sign a quLity striker.Hopefully,it will be a striker with less baggage than Costa and more useful and long term investment which will benefit Chelsea for at least next 6-8 seasons.
