He's an awful player as Milan are inevitably finding out. Not sure we'll even be able to give him away next summer but he has no future in the Chelsea first team squad. Maybe he'll have to spend the remaining couple of years of his contract with the Under 23's. So be it.
The 2017 summer transfer window where we bought both Bakayoko and Morata for £100 million was the worst business this club has ever done and surely goes down as our worst ever transfer window.
Hopefully whoever was responsible for that debacle is no longer at the club although I suspect that they still are, which is rather worrying.
I've said before, Aldershot would snap him up !.......I think !

Ouch
We really out shone ourselves with that little spree...didn't we
Heard earlier Utd are paying Sanchez £505k a week...we'd have been better off doing that in place of this fiasco of a window
On a serious note, if we'd had the foresight to use Abraham instead of Morata, RLC instead of Bakayoko and MVG instead of Drinkwater; we'd have been no worse of but had the best part of £140m still in the coffers!
That said no one could predict how badly Morata, with his reputation, would be!
No point looking backwards boys
What you need to do is slap a £30 million bid in for sissoko in January
In all seriousness Sarri seems a breath of fresh air for you lot, playing good football and unified the team

Problem is Brummie last time we tried that little experiment it set us back years (2010). MVG is the only one that could have worked, RLC plays in a different position to Baka and Tammy at Swansea made Morata look like prime Henry.
Nathaniel Chalobah instead of Baka. Instead we gave away a home grown for 5m just to add salt to the wound of 2017 transfer window

Sorry but I don't see how we'd be worse off, no better off maybe but no worse off - except at the bank!
Also can't use Swansea as a barometer of Abraham

Fair point - but I'll refer you to Bov's comment.

Why not? They were the worst scorers in the league and he couldn't get a kick, it shouldn't be the final nail his coffin granted but it's is a worrying sign that can't be ignored and this is coming from someone who likes him.
We can still play RLC for Chelsea on a regular basis as the third substitute to make an impact in the last 20-25 minutes in matches as I liked his performance v Vidi.
Why would it be even considered a final nail in his coffin?
Why would you take any notice of last season, playing for a team that got relegated. TBH, I don't really care what happened at Swansea or Bristol (where he's really well thought of) I want to know what impact he could have at our club.
Highly unlikely we'll ever find out granted but like I said, would we be any worse off trying him as an alternative to Morata or Giroud -- I personally doubt it!
