I’d be interested to see him in for Kante. I like his energy and stamina he’s always involved. And best shoooting technique of all our midfielders (maybe not hard there considering his company). He has struggled before yesterday with keeping possession, usually in bizarre moments where you’d expect most midfielders to make the pass. Because those moments were so simple I thought/think it can easily be coaches out of him because rest of his game is fine

Key now is consistency, he may well become a player capable of yesterday when he’s confident but a liability next

Could become a big player for us considering he is homegrown as well.

He has goals to his game already, that is like the only defining factor that separates him and your other starting midfielders

If we won't be able to keep hold of Kovacic then sure. But if we are able to sign him permanently from Real then Barkley is 2nd choice.
