I mentioned how funny it would be if they did not get CL this year, I feel their league is just a team short of being able to make that a possibility.
Atleti, yes
Barca, yes
Sevilla, maybe...
Nobody else to realistically knock them out the top 4 imo. Not that I watch a whole lot of la liga
All of a tither on GOL TV at the moment, and don't forget Bale is injured again!
Seems like the whole world is against 'em !,don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Good job they were good just long enough to beat Liverpool last season, although Karius did play more than a hand in the result
Get over it mate, he's leaving...
He’s virtually showing his arris to them!
Yeah, like he did to Liverpool !
Mbappe would probably accept a year out of it, not sure Neymar will and i highly doubt Hazard will want another at 28.

Well, you lot have plenty of experience on that score so ill trust your judgement.
fail to win anything this season or do not qualify for next seasons C/L , will Hazard, or Neymar or MBappe or their agents, still want to go there ?
=======
They'll want to go even more.
Madrid won't be sheet forever and they'll love coming in to be the stars.

Errr. There’s a reason your fans are known as the rent boys mate. Another clueless plastic.
What you put in that cocoa Flashy ?
Just saying, that RM this season are not very good, and it would be good for Spanish football especially, and football in general,if they were to have a lean time for a while .

Not a chance Real will miss CL, they're like us before we started going soft. Manager will be gone long before they do any real damage.
There's a possibility we could be a month or two of specific results away from seeing Mourinho back at Real, and he'd get them CL qualification for sure. Perez really liked him and CR7's gone.

I can't imagine he will be offered anything more than interim and even that looks unlikely.
With us he got the benefit of the doubt the players and the board derailed him, he's not going to be able to convince anyone that was the case at Old Trafford.
I would say unless Erik becomes an important board member at an elite club, his top level career will be over.
Like Madrid won’t get top four.

Logically I'd agree but it would be just like him to bomb the way he has with United and trip into the biggest job in football
Don't forget that in 2017, they won 5 trophies,I don't call that lean ! and every year they manage to win something or other ,....you should know !

Would be better for Spanish football if Barca went shiiiiit. They’re the ones dominating the domestic trophies the last decade.
What if Conte becomes their new manager, do you think Hazard will still go?
Barca gonna dominate again this year by the look of it !, RM in for a troubled time, god knows who will be the next manager, but surely not Conte.

Neither have looked like dominating really.
Despite last season's double, Valverde's under pressure to bring the team back to playing 'the Barça way' and having difficulty achieving that.
Lopetegui's approach to more passing/possession-based football was actually welcomed at Madrid, but their goal drought has set all the alarm bells ringing.
Ironaically enough, Sevilla's fans were fuming at their manager after the first few games, and now they're top; Atlético were said to have one of their best squads ever, but started out dropping points all over the place. They're right back in it again.
Doubt Sevilla will go the distance, but Atleti are well equipped to topple the big 2 this season.
Betis might also be a menace for that 4th spot if either Madrid or Barça fail to straighten out their season.
