I had Sunday roast a few times in restaurants in Ireland, but its rank. Dry meat, fake gravy, bland potatoes, overcooked veggies. Its rank. Probably because its from a buffet. A proper roast is probably nice, but I miss it like a toothache

Having been a chef for most of my life I have had more than my fair share of Sunday dinners . Hate places like Toby Carvery that serve rubbish food. Can’t beat a home made roast with all the trimmings and proper gravy to match the roast you are cooking, Not Bisto. If your meats over cooked or gravy and veg rank learn to cook or go to a decent restaurant
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only good thing about Toby Carvery is I don’t need to eat for a day and a half.
