What I love about Tammy this year is that he looks like he can score even when he isn't playing well

Other shouts:

Kova: playing a level above last season for sure - but Tammy has had a greater impact in a problem position for us and started stronger. An argument to be had as to whether Kova has been more consistent in overall performance level.

Jorginho: similar to Kova really - although he is really just playing at the same high level he managed at the end of last year. Leadership shown is fantastic and necessary given the youth of our team.

Zouma: didn't think i'd have him in this, I was hoping to sell him. Solid and surprising and also the senior CB in the starting partnerships so far.

Mount: great start and some fantastic performances sprinkled about the season so far. Not quite consistent enough yet and looks less impressive when asked to drop deep.

Pulisic: Yanks shouldn't play football. But if they are going to then scoring a hattrick is a good start. Impressive in bursts so far but needs consistency to be in this argument. Has a chance with the rest of the season tbf if he has a few more match winning performances.

Willian: another pleasant surprise. Now the seasoned veteran anchoring one side of our attack, looks more confident and assured without Hazard around as well.

I will, I think Kovacic has been our best player so far. I actually think Tsmmy was not great tonight. But he kept going,which is important and got his rewards.
