I'm still a bit unsure on Christensen though. I want to think that there is a really good CB there waiting to flourish but we still haven't really seen that here from him. He's shown signs though.

To be fair to him he's only really had a decent run when we played three at the back. With Sarri only using two he didn't really have a chance to adapt to it with an extended run.

I don't find him imposing enough Brummie, maybe he needs time as you say, but at the moment i feel he is missing something

I tend to agree with you there, I think he needs to bulk up a bit as he looks a little light weight for a CB.

He definitely has the ability, he just needs to add the aggression and a bit of bulk behind him!

I am enjoying an ice cold Peroni on the terrace at the moment and some cheese and ham.............life is great

I've just had two Tesco Tiger rolls with ham and English (after all I am a Brexiteer ) mustard with a cup of tea and Mr Kipling apple and blackcurrent pie!

That's how I roll nowadays!

He's an example of NPE completely contradicting himself:

Bravo, Stones, Otamendi, Fernandinho, Gundogan, KDB, Silva, Sane, Sterling, Aguero and Jesus are still there.

Delph and Kompany just left this season too.

I'd say a large chunk of his squad in 2016 is still there now.

Bravo and Otamendi barely play but were first teamers in 2016/17.

KDB was much less consistent, let alone Sterling who is essentially a different player now, while Sane was likewise erratic.

The squad they had then in terms of stages of development, balance, quality was well below what they have now.

Yet the whole thrust of his argument with everyone else was that we should judge young players as we should judge players like Costa and Morata and make no allowance for their inexperience.

Yeah there's something a bit lightweight about Christensen isn't there. Certainly for a CB he seems a tad delicate. Maybe mentally as well. He hasn't physically bulked up over the summer though from what I saw of him in preseason.

He needs a few sessions in the gym with me Superb!

Well Vanilla 1 up in one of those games were I don't know who I want to loose!
