Yeah I did that for the first time the other night in Strawberry. Took me ages to get him to arrest me though. I opened every draw in his office stealing things whilst he just kept telling me to stop. He was like a parent saying he’ll give me to the count of 3.

What can I say? Those boys love you.....

Just moved home to, starting chapter 3 living by the lake. Nice area to live. Should be smooth sailing from here on in for Arthur and the gang.

Has anyone fished yet? Where can I get a rod from?

Yes. I think you need to take that little lad fishing to get the rod. I think his name is Jack?

I bought a little canoe thing for camp, can't even use it for fishing ffs.

Rowed over to that little island next to the camp, ran around a little bit on there, killed and skinned a turtle. Went back to the beach and the canoe had fecked off!

Thought I could swim back as it wasn't that far and I didn't know you could drown if you run out of stamina, you can.



Was either die trying to get back or play 'Cast Away' instead of Red Dead for the rest of my life.

Yeah i did the same when trying to escape that manor house without being spotted, swam way too far out before I realised you could drown

Wasn't that far though ffs.

Suppose you ain't the fittest when you get your energy from cigars and weekly bowl of stew.

I drowned last night too. Robbed a train and stopped it on a bridge. Bloody horse fell off the bridge and died (fortunately it wasn't a horse I particularly liked, so hadn't named it).

Once I'd escaped the law, I went to retrieve my saddle. My horse was at the bottom of a river with a strong current. I couldn't stay still long enough in the river to get my saddle and then couldn't fight the current to get back to shore.

RAP

I tried to get that Arabian horse last night.

Found it, calmed it, then went to jump on it to tame it but it fell off a 12 foot 'ish ledge and landed on top of me, crushing and killing Arthur and then running off.

I don't even own a console and I read this thread. I didn't even enjoy the first game that much yet this has made me want to buy this one
