I am a little confused on how to save progress in this game. I whiped out O'Driscoll and his gang but when going back to the game, I had to do that mission all over again. I do not have time for long sessions, so if I have to complete missions in one session, then I might have a bit of a challenge.

I have had 1 instance where I had to go back and do a mission again. Before I switch off I just go to the progress option on the menu and save it manually and overwrite the last saved game (rather than using any of the numerous empty slots). Haven't had another problem since.

Save manually is locked. I cannot save it manually. Only between missions, not during a mission.

Think that's just while you're so early in the game and locked into missions, you probably do need to finish the current mission (mission, not full chapter) to save it.

You should only have to finish a singular mission to save the game. None really take longer than 30 mins I would say.

It autosaves at certain points of missions too..

I kept getting shot on the duels at first, still don't really get it ffs.

Says to hold R2 or whatever as slow as possible to get more time to aim but if I do that I get shot before it's even filled up. If I just fill the meter quickly I aim and shoot first? Shiyte system.

I don't think you have to hold it two long, just try and get some x's on the targets quickly whilst slowly holding the trigger and you should be fine
