What game modes did you try online? What’s the free roam like? I’ve never bothered with gta online so don’t even know what to do!

There were stranger missions dotted around the map as well as story ones. Kind of works like offline except you get put into missions with 3 other people.

There's also battle royales and other game modes I believe.

Well, you have to do a couple of missions to start with one your own, which is kind of an intro to online and sees you setting up your camp and stuff. You aren't in a server at that point. Once you have done that you can either go to the yellow missions, same as in story mode, or there are stranger missions that you can do. When you go to the missions you have the option of matchmaking with other players that are on that mission to form a posse. Or you can form your own posse for mates/join a mates posse. I jest went and did one missions with my mate, which was taking a fugitive back to the sheriff, which involved a shoot-out with his gang . There were other posses on my server, and you get notifications of when another posse has started a mission and you get a marker of where there goal is, so you can hijack that if you want. I have never played GTA either, so it is all new to me, but it does look good.

I did the same with the old nag. On the horse rustling mission one of the guys I was matched with got trampled by the horse he was trying to steal and was laid on the floor in the stables bleeding out. I was able to revive him and he got back up and got on the horse. Then he sent me a friend request! Team player me Pride.

Well, you know where you get the White Arabian from at the side of the lake? If you head up the hill away from the area with the lake on your left, there is ridge at the top. If you go over the ridge there is a little abandoned mining town in the valley below. Head down there, but be careful on the way down as it is easy to fall. Take your time and stick to the left side of the cliff. Once you get into the town, there is a raised platform with a raised wooden tunnel running off from it into the hill side. Jump onto the platform and head through the tunnel, then you have to dynamite the end of the tunnel. Then you can get inside and a bit of exploring in there and you will find the nugget. Its a big fecker, so you will have to drop it off the end of the platform before you climb down. Sell it to the fence.

Sounds good, may let RAP try it out first just to be on the safe side

I played for a bit online yesterday and it was pretty chaotic. In free roam posse s were camped outside a stable in Blackwater. I got hogtiex three times. Managed to escape and kicked one to death before before being shot in the head.

I'm unsure if the online mode will have the same appeal for me as offline. I'm going to die... a lot

I might have to go Home Alone style on the online mode and call my posse the wet bandits. It'll basically entail hogtying people and throwing them in lakes and rivers

I’m sure there’s a glitch with some of these challenges. I’ve tried holding up townsfolk and it’s not counting it, and I’ve killed about 700 animal species with dead eye and it also won’t count it.

that's pretty incredible considering there's between 200-250 species

I've run over an Irish and a fair few Americans, not even met a French yet on the game.
