Seriously thinking about just starting the game again now that I have finished and trying to experience everything that I have missed, including getting bummed in the wilds.

I've not come across this at all

Fack this game sometimes.

Ran somebody over in St Denis accidentally, then I'm endlessly chased, they kill my horse then I get killed trying to revive it. Fack sake it was worth 250 dollars!!!!

They are in the woods south of Valentine. They appear at night only. Once you encounter em you will see them again in two different occasions, one of which is the daytime in the hills near Valentine. 2 are carrying a giant cross while another barks orders. I won’t say any more but it’s very funny
