Evil dead 2 and reanimator love those 2 moves
Which Nightmare on Elm street was it where a naked woman gets stuck in a water bed? Remember watching that on rewind when I was a kid.
Evil dead 3 army of darkness is good fun too

The witch isn’t scary, it’s an odd film. Not bad, but too slow for me..
Babadook is worth a watch. Actually quite liked insidious 3.the whole series far from classics do what they say on the tin.

The Witch is fantastic. I don't know if it's meant to scare you. More of give you a dark feeling of dread.

The House of Seven Corpses
I remember my cousins & I watched that movie as kids. Was pretty scary back then.
Love a good horror film, but I find good ones are horrifically hard to come by, these days.
Saw Halloween (2018) last night and had high hopes, given the original, Halloween II, and Halloween H20 were faves of mine as a kid - and it has had great reviews - but it SUCKED.
Was not scary at all and I wouldn't even watch it again. Exact same thing with the new IT - great reviews, big box office, but just was not scary in the slightest.
Good ones I've seen recently:
The Babadook;
Open house was decent;
1922 (but don't think this was strictly a horror);
Annabelle: Creation (scared the bejeezus out of me);
Don't breathe.
Ones on my list:
The Witch;
The Apostle;
Hush;
Hereditary;
Veronica.
The Conjuring was not scary for you?
Need to watch Annabelle Creation though.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really liked the Conjuring and found it scary, but not as scary as Annabelle: Creation (although, that could have been because I saw the latter in an empty cinema with all the added experience of the speakers, etc.).
Didn't think the Conjuring 2 was as good, though. The first Annabelle is the worst in the 'verse' that I've seen, although I haven't seen The Nun yet, but that was pretty universally panned.
I miss paranormal activity I thought the first 4 were really good & scary
Conjuring, Insidious and Sinister have been good recent time horrors. I didn’t quite enjoy Annabelle while the Nun has had some bad reviews.
The Excorcist is still one of the classics.
Yeah loved the Paranormal Activity stuff and The Exorcist. Aren't they coming out with a new Exorcist?
Heard good things about the Haunting of Hill House, but just moved into a new place and waiting for my Wi-Fi to get installed!
The original Exorcist was long before my time, but I heard stories about there being priests outside the cinema begging people not to watch that's the kind of controversy and disclaimer I want in a horror!
I wasn’t around in the 70s either
It was re released in the early noughties and you had the usual stories of people dying in the cinema watching this movie
I swear there's like 5 Exorcists movies since the one they released in the 00s
