Good to hear Frank saying we should have been better in the last fifteen minutes while still praising them overall. There will be games where we won’t have a massive cushion and where we will need to be properly ruthless and give ‘em no sniff.

Lampard's interview after was absolutely spot on. Great display and result but....we should have done better at times. Really not having a pop at the performance but there were times we should have passed better and been better in last 3rd. No kidding...we could have got 8 or 9 tonight. Superb performance but we can be better. On to Boro. No reason why we cant do the same to them.

Well Done Rams.

Watched the goals again. For the 5th time. It's not getting old yet.

We appear to be turning midfield dominance in to goals now. Frank now has to convince the team they don't just have to turn up to win. He didn't get the message over after the Man Utd win and we lost to a poor Bolton side. I think his criticism of the last 10 minutes was part of that. Bill Nicholson used to criticise the Spurs team of the early 60s after they won.

Fair play lads. You're probably the best team we've played this season and you should be there to thereabouts come the end of the season!

Superb Stuff. Such quality in the finishing.
I have been a critic of Lawrence, but it seems he's had a reality check.

I would rather it have been 4 1 against a Pulis team than against big Dazzer's team. Still we have the chance on Saturday to put the high priest of hoof ball to the sword.

Just realised that Scott Malone came through the Academy at Wolves and was born in Rowley Regis.
He would have enjoyed his goal more than anyone last night.

Spart, I think what last night and last Saturday showed was that when we come up against footballing teams, we are more than a match for most of them.

When we come up against a more "robust" style, we have struggled - Pulis sides tend to be robust so I am less optimistic about Saturday as I fear they will (try to) kick us off the park.

I thought he was superb last night - an example of what we should expect of left back. He was confident and it ran through the team.

Long may it - and he - continue

There have been many such re-vitalising events In the club's history. The first (for me) was the arrival of Brian Clough and Peter Taylor. Then we had the kick back down by Sam Longson. Then we had the positive arrival of Lionel Pickering and his huge investment and the arrival of Jim Smith and Baiano, Mart Poom and Eranio, Stimach. There followed the decline (due to the expensive Ravanelli, when he was finished) The decline continued with Billy, Pauno and Savage.

Then the boost due to GSE and their sensible administration and management, followed by the massive boost from Mel Morris - mainly for his cash and the wisdom to invest in a brilliant Derby County infrastructure. And now for the fortuitous payout for Gary Rowatt by Stoke, making room for the inspired choice of Frank Lampard. His influence has enabled us to attract Wilson, Mount and Tomori whilst also improving (by example or witchcraft or brain washing) all of our other players. Carson could hardly have been improved upon. But Bogle, Forsyth, Keogh and Davis. Bryson, Johnson, Huddz, Lawrence have all improved significantly since Frank came. So have Bennett and Nugent.

Last night what was significant and full of hope for me, was the fact that - as well as Mount and Wilson played -they were no longer looking like our only talent. The others were equally effective ,such that if either Mount or Wilson cannot play - they would scarcely be missed if they ever were injured.

We've certainly some ups and downs and we on the up at the moment.

Total football last night, two highlights were from Tomori and Malone being the furthest men forward creating chances. Tomori's speed to go past their full back was impressive, you don't see many centre halves doing that.

Long may it continue.

Anybody know how his injury is? Is he likely to play on Saturday?

Reported as just cramp, hopefully.

Last night was the first game in years that we didn't start with a big guy up front. We do have nooog in reserve though if required.

I thought Malone looked a bit off it early on, understandable as he hasn't been playing, but got better as the game progressed. I had a funny feeling he might score last night. He certainly has an instinct for attacking. He's likely to be first choice now. Forsyth is a solid defender to have as a back up, and Malone knows he has to continue to perform to a high level or he'll be on the bench again. Lampard is managing the squad really well, and tactically he seems very sharp too. I think we might have the real deal here.

Great to wallow in the positivity on here, last night and today. No set of fans deserve it more xxx

Wallowing away cheerfully. However, always remember that results may vary, terms and conditions will apply and do read the small print.

Yep, wallowing like the proverbial porcine, thanks
Whatever happens on Saturday, the 4000 Rams going to Chelsea next week are going to have a great night out, regardless of the result.
I'm a tad envious, tbh.

Teeth are fine by the way, thanks for asking everybody. Prawn curry also seems to have bedded itself in for the long haul. Cross I didn't get to go to the match though.
