It's a total shambles
We're all going to pay for it
They can shove their collective cake right up their arrises.
We’ll buy our eggs elsewhere.
Thing is they want us to take their cake at an ever increasing cost and when we’ve had enough they won’t let us leave the table.

Its kind of spot on though. That's how moronic it all has become.
UK: We are leaving the EU
EU: There cant be a hard border with Ireland
UK: We don't want a hard border with Ireland
EU: That great, you can leave
UK: But we can't have a soft border with Ireland

How anyone remotley thinks brexit is still a good idea is beyond me.

Sounds similar to an argument i have with the wife after i've just came.
I'm a reluctant remainer but I am troubled by the way the UK is seemingly unable to extract itself from the EU. It seems fundamentally wrong that a nation state can't leave the group.
Not that I'm saying we should leave - and if I'm honest I more and more think we won't leave - but I'm uncomfortable with the feeling that we're forced to stay, even if I disagree with that decision.
That's all with the caveat that 95% of this is our fault as we've fecked up the negotiations in a way that I didn't think was possible, even for this government.
To be honest this would be more accurate

Is it a case of being forced to stay though? For decades the UK benefited from trade deals etc. Spent lots of time and money getting involved to the point these deals are a fundamental part of the UKs existence.
So to just decide to leave could never be straight forward when so much time has been spent getting involved

You can leave easily, just that the UK doesnt like the terms of a hard brexit. They want their cake and eat it.

Forced is probably the wrong word. And you're right in that we've allowed ourselves to be so interwoven in the EU that it's now extraordinarily difficult for us, or any nation, to detach itself from the EU.
And we're not helped by the incompetents who are trying to do the detaching (the government that is, not the civil servants who are, in my opinion, blameless and completely hamstrung).
How anyone remotely thinks staying in this poisonous European cult is still a good idea is beyond me.
