Let’s face it, Forest were garbage tonight and to take all three points would have been an injustice. Yep, life’s a beetch at times but there it is.

Forest failed to launch many attacks and were presumably set up to play a defensive game but that should be seen as a credit to your prowess at home.

I don't go to away games but noticed that at HT at Boro the stats showed we had dominated possession, shots, and shots on target. They hadn't conceded at home till we turned them over 2-0.

So today Lolley and Carvalho had off days and you got off lightly. You still only managed a handball goal to scrape a draw. To say Forest were garbage only invites the question of how bad Leeds were.

To launch an attack, you need the ball. Forest hardly had it in the second half and when they did they gave it back to us. I expected a more even contest ratger than a game of attack v defence

Your point being?

We were 1-0 up and comfortable. You created a chance and cheated to put the ball in the net. You created another chance in stoppage time. You were the home side, but would have lost without an atrocious decision from the officials.

Your goal was fortunate and diwn to naive defending. You only had 3 efforts at goal all game and only one on target. You had less than 30% posession. If we were still playing now you still wouldn’t score. Can you honestly say you deserved all 3 points on that display? We were all over you like a rash and the handball goal was lucky but gave us at least the point we desreved and denied you two points that you didn’t deserve

I think draw was fair result.

For all our possession we weren’t really good enough to hurt forest.

I agree Jonty. I’m happy with a point, given the circumstances, but disappointed that our superiority wasn’t converted into more goals.

Peak, if I was opposing manager I’d let us have possession, try and nick something on counter and play on fact that Leeds don’t create enough clear cut chances or convert enough chances/half chances.

We’re doing great with what we have we just need some better quality.

Peakwhite you are taking nonsense. You couldnt score a legitimate goal and Forest did. Who cares that you were better or had more of the ball? Not really relevant to the result. First didn’t look like Scoring again but you wouldn’t have scored a goal either, never got close! If the decisions were made correctly you lose. Simple.

If you had more possession than us and were the better team why didn't you score more goals than us?

Believing what hype? Leeds are massively over achieving for the squad they have. Most sensible fans have their feet well and truly on the floor.

Forest on the other hand are slightly under achieving so far after their lavish spending over the past year.

Very true Leeds do find it difficult to break teams down that sit back and resort to every trick in the book to hold onto a lead......delaying every restart by slow play or kicking the ball away and constant cheap fouls. Referee missed the handball but he didnt hand Forest enough yellow cards out.

The championship is as wide open as it has ever been, but I don’t see either of us being able to take advantage. We are too negative, you don’t have the ‘guile’ to break teams down, tbh I doubt if either will even make the play offs. Both teams were disappearing but in different ways. Both teams are transitioning under ‘new managers/coaches’ and probably won’t ‘click’ in time. As always it may we’ll be ‘next season’

We’ve got the best goal difference in the league, so I beg to differ on that. We got lucky and got the point we deserved and you lost two points you didn’t. End of.

We actually came pretty close. Another five minutes and you would have lost the point you barely deserved. It it was a boxing match, the ref would have ended the contest. You couldn’t even get out of your own half

You didn’t get lucky you cheated!!

We got lucky we weren’t caught out. I’ve lost count of the number of times we’ve been ‘done’ on decisions going against us. I welcome the change for once. Bloody great!

In any case, if the ball hadn’t Roofe’s arm it would have gone in off his leg or other part of his anatomy. It was a great ball into the box that cut Forest apart.

Reckon it was going in anyway, even without the "ball to hand" contact

Conclusion:
Tough luck on Forest. Lucky for Leeds that ref and assistant failed to spot the handball. Overall a point each is as much as either team deserved

Delighted with the draw.

We were with yours, Igor. Tough on the lad to score the ‘own goal’. Boro were clueless. Two points dropped there for sure.
