With such a large squad I don't understand why Karanka keeps using players who are carrying a injury, Fox being prime example.
Janko can allegdly play left back so get him in the team; same with Osborn, why play him last week if he hadn't trained the previous day.
January is a bad time to buy or loan players; they will either be returning from injury/not featuring in their match day squad or very expensive.
Having said that Dowell would be a good addition, but I expect that Karanka doesn't rate him, otherwise why bring in all the Portugeese lads?
Dowell wouldn’t be a bad shout butsisnt Karabka sideline him? Maybe he was just burnt out and another stint at Forest would do Dowell the world of good otherwise his career is in danger of stagnating. I’m sure Everton would like to get him some game time.
Carvalho definitely doesn’t seem to like the close attentions of the Championship midfielders. Was easily run off the ball several times against Leeds. For all of the delicate touches, he needs to roll with the punches a bit more or word will her round quickly that he doesn’t like the rough stuff and his Forest career would be in danger of stagnating. Forest desperately needed someone in that position to get hold of the ball but Carvalho looked like he was desperate to be hooked by Karanka to me.
I'd be tempted to give Pep half a game in the Carvalho role tomorrow night. Watson, Bridcutt, Yacob, and Yates could share DM duties.
Soudani is a another shout for the number 10 role, it would seem some rotation would be good
I wonder how far off Byram is to returning, could be a key player second half of the season
If a really good goal keeper comes available I would be interested

Tom Heaton sitting on the bench at Turf Moor could be looking for a loan move in Jan.
Fraser Forster third choice at Soton.
I think we need to loan one (or even two) out before bringing one in. But to be honest AK has signed two keepers already; doesn't look good if he says he needs to sign another.
After the dismal showing at Burton tonight, we may again be asking who we should be releasing, as well as potential signings/loans.
