Great 2nd half, pre-match I thought Hearts, in current form, might derail the treble treble.

Really enjoying big Chris Ajerr work, just back after a few weeks out but he was in the middle of it, lots of shouting and organising at the back as well as a wee mazy run.

To quote the Hearts manager - 'It was a good laugh'

Impressive Cup stats!

Very rare for me - I'm still buzzin first thing next day.

Absolutely loved Levein's stoney greetin face after his schoolboy

so called windups of Brendan earlier this year.

The Cup still has to be won yet.

A soft penalty is still a penalty. It seems to be providing some compfort to people, but it’s still a penalty.

Ah yes what a beautiful Sunday indeed, my only gripe us that we didn't score more! Christie looks very useful and it was very enjoyable to see Sinclair turn up, looking forward to Wednesday's night game now 👍

Yip, 2 wins this week will likely see us go top of the table as I expect Hibs to beat Hearts on Wednesday.

Excellent second half performance after a turbid first, struggling to break Hearts down. Said during the game yesterday that Christie was changing the game for us, offering much more energy and directness in the midfield.. helped to look everything up.

As for the other game, I switched off first half to play a bit more Red Dead Redemption before flicking it back to see Aberdeen awarded the corner that they scored from

By all accounts it was a terrible game to watch.

Another final against Aberdeen.. They're due a win against us, but we're starting to hit some real form and more than likely still hold the metal edge on them.

And it's always nice seeing Rangers beat after yet another bout of false bravado

My thoughts on yesterday.

Too many have said that travelling was a nightmare of them and equally as bad as at Hampden.

The atmosphere from those far away stand on three sides is actually worse than Hampden so I do wonder was it just the novelty of playing there and winning. Maybe.

Football a pretty dire first half highlighted by Naismith going off. I don’t want it to be a serious injury or anything but as NNH has said, karma for a quite horrible rse of a footballer who seems to get more out of his game lashing out and winding up opponents than playing.

First half meh.

Second half it was all Celtic and I’m hearing many say the penalty was soft but to me it was as straightforward a trip as you can get. Excellently tucked away by Sinclair. Second a mess by the keeper but well done Forrest for reacting so quickly. He had another great game.

How the floodgates didn’t open up was mainly down to their keeper and luck but when the third case it was a beauty. Lifted up round the defender and into the top corner. Great strike.

Lovely to watch their big crowd leave nice and quietly too.

Listened to and heard quite a bit of the Rangers Aberdeen game. Sounded like Rangers charging alll over the place with zero guile and no ideas on how to change it from the manager. Aberdeen whilst hanging on seemed to restrict them to one shot on target so job done. They score and it’s game over.

How they and Gerrard react will answer all the pre season questions about Gerrard’s rookie tag. He windy help it in his interview by taking the blame himself before less than a minute later castigating his players. A bit silly and I think he’s another who doesn’t quite understand finances.

Lovely day all round and hopefully we’re back at the top of the league by next Saturday tea time latest.

Also, Christie scored as double yesterday.. His first looked clearly over the line from that's replay. Forrest can try claim it all he wants

Re the traveling.. I heard that ScotRail didn't put any extra trains on

Although I did find it funny that so many Celtic fans were howling (rightfully) about it online as they missed kick off.. the same fans who were telling Aberdeen fans to such it up etc when it looked like their game was gonna be an early KO.

As for BR; he’s reacted very well as have the players but I’ll keep my powder dry until he sorts out our defensive issues hopefully in the January window but if he doesn’t then we have the same problems next year.

Was genuinely a bit worried about this game, with the players we had out, but thoroughly enjoyed that 2nd half.

Nobody yet mentioned the 2nd penalty we should have got when Dunne was on the ground? Accidental? Yes, but you have to give that one. Jeezo, basically holding the ball with both arms. Only Collum (ok, maybe Dallas) can wave play on

😂. Yeah that was as blatant as they come. It was only the sheer disbelief and shock that nobody really kicked up a stink about it.

What a beautiful Sunday indeed

First half was like the start to this season's campaign - lack of movement, creativity and energy. I thought Kouassi was awful and forgot Ntcham was playing. Rogic lost the ball time and time again. The introduction of Sinclair brought about a bit of direct play on the left hand side but not enough.

After praising Mcgregor for replacing Brown in the CDM role of late I couldn't believe he had started Kouassi in there. Thankfully as much as I am a huge critic of Rodgers for the turgid passing game we do he also deserves credit for being able to read a game and make the right changes.

Second half was a case of how many. The penalty was a penalty. If it was against your side you'd be saying how stupid your defender was for attempting to tackle a player going away at the corner of the box.

The football in the second half at times was terrific. The speed of play was great. Rogic turned up which in turn allowed Eduoard to stop being isolated and brought him in where I thought he was terrific and did everything but score.

On the atmosphere it was good. I was middle of the upper tier behind the goals so felt in the middle of it. Absolutely no use of phone signal in the stadium due to the vast numbers. Tried to phone and couldn't even make a call

Getting away from Edinburgh was a nightmare. At least an hour to get to the motorway but then only 45 minutes to get to Glasgow going the M9 then M80. Sitting behind a Celtic supporters bus going past Tynecastle was recipe for disaster. Some wannabe middle aged hard man decided to shout at the bus and start banging his fists on it offering all 40 odd passengers a square go while a glass bottle got hurled at it. I'd love to have seen the guy if even just 5 guts got off the bus

Didn't see any of the other game but it sounded great
