It is on record that I said Rush was untrustworthy. Obviously for the way he went about sacking Nigel.
I maintain I was right. But - now they have made up the difference - maybe I was wrong?
Scouser - did you mean The Hollybush at Milford?
A great pint and great pork pies.
.... and maybe Mel is not in the habit of lining the pockets of very expensive barristers?

No Ramdini, the one at Grangemill at the top of the the Via Gellia.
It must be 35 years since I've been in there (darts match), but I used to pass it regularly back in the day!
Interesting that Sam has not tried to defend his reputation that was torn to shreds publicly. That says a lot.
Impossible to defend anyone with a muzzie like that!
Best "Mel and..." duo's?
Mel and Kim?
Mel and Sue?
Mel and Griff?
Mel and Sam?

Remarkably yes it would appear.
An amazing number of pubs are shut when you drive through the country.
I've just driven to the other side of Bridgnorth and back via Shrewsbury, lots and lots of wayside inns shuttered-up.
the Hollybush at Milford is actually at Makeney.
Yes it is Makeney but take me to Milford and I'll find it.
The Hollybush at Grangemill, was shut when I last went past. The windows there still have the marks of bars as it used to double as a prison for when they transported prisoners across the Pennines to Derby assizes.
Snake Inn on Snake Pass. Shut.
Sorry to hear that Iwas. Did our first overnight hike as Cubs from there, across Kinder to Hayfield and home - a long time ago!

Lovely walk that Heb, such big views would have been tough for a young cub.
Hopefully someone will reopen the Snake.
I take it all back, just checked the Internet and it has reopened with great reviews on trip advisor too.
Maybe but what if this discussion took place 5 weeks ago?
Not laughing now are ya!!
