Unfortunately that is the ONLY positive. Opportunity missed.

I hope Watson doesn’t play on Saturday against the Blunts, we will really miss Colback, but a booking every other game will cost dearly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Both Bridcutt and Watson gave duff rehearsals. Couldn’t tackle their way out of a wet paper bag kind of rehearsal too.

Appiah will be in the squad for Saturday as Soudani is now injured again.

Agree entirely there Red, another opportunity missed. If Karanka doesn’t want him why pay his wages?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Does seem odd that we haven’t seen either in or Tachsidis at all. Robinson did say in an interview this week that there are too many players in training so some have to stand and watch!
Look on the bright side lads you can concentrate on the league see you soon
Bring on the Blunts!!!.....😕

Will copy and paste for you for this time tomorrow. 👍🏼
We are playing Chelsea Will not Burton Albion
Just been told your manager is embarrassed about the result tonight
Appiah and Virgil Gomes should be getting a look in.
Good old Wassa get the excuses in nice and early.
Wassa, as it’s so embarrassing to get beaten at Burton, perhaps you could tell us how you did at the Pirelli last season. I am sure I remember a big win for the sheep, or was 1-0 to the Brewers ?
Dave they were a championship side then and not a league 1 side
I'm surprised Karanka hasn't blamed the fans!

Last fifteen and counting - teams that have played Leeds United and not won their next game.
Must be all that chasing shadows

Assume you beat all of those 15 teams?
Not much use to you otherwise 🤨
Karanka has to accept responsibility. Exceptionally poor judgement - an opportunity to reach the quarter final. He misread the situation and underestimated Nigel Clough’s ability to get that extra bit out of his teams in such a match.
With the team we fielded, we should have progressed.
Again we got overrun in midfield - Boyce bossed us, as did the rest of the midfield around him.
Happens too often. That is a management issue. There seemed no plan or desire.
We are in a reasonable position in the league - that can change over a few games. It is tight and some fans are getting carried away with our league position.
Not been hugely impressed with us by any stretch across the season so far.

Why does beating the teams matter to the fact?
The fact is the last fifteen teams that played us have not won their next game. It's just an interesting fact/stat.
I'll be watching this one - like the fact the last penalty we were awarded was 14/10/17. Some 53 games ago.
We get lots of Leeds biased refs you know

Thing that struck me about that performance was how one paced it was before Lolley and Appiah came on. Not going to trouble many teams with that kind of approach. The teams that rely on possession football also have the ability to go through the gears when necessary.
Assistants on the other hand 🤚.......
Obviously the above was for Stoopo.
Will decimated any (limited) comedic value 🤨
