Oh, and in case anyone is interested, the data showed a wee midtable scrap between london clubs.
Spurs - 185
Arsenal - 163
Chelsea - 163
Its only mildly interesting given there are other studies using social media followers of offical club accounts and this is a different picture.
We know bayern are huge in germany but really i dont think the numbers above translate at all into moeny or power on the pitch like they do for real and barca... Thus i must question them.

That would be embarrassing if we hadn't won the premiership

True. This seems to focus on fans who pay to join the club, are part of the club, will join fellow fans to watch matches, rather than folks who click for likes on social media.

If they are official supporters clubs they get tickets for games, through the club, paid for by membership fees. I was in one years ago. Basically we met up for drinks every week, paying a fee and went to about ten games a season.

I would have thought Supporters Clubs died out with the advent of the internet.
10 games a season with a supporters club for a ‘big’ club. Sounds like a very well connected supporters club. Were ST being purcashed and shared as in the good old days of ticket books?
Celtic have 334 worldwide
According to another website anyway 🤔

I sit with some who travel as a supporters club. They have ST and just use a cheaper coach as a way to get drunk on the way to the game at £1 a can. Were great for always too.
Sometimes great for getting a spare for a friend when someone books a holiday in the season or when a student, sharing a ST with a friend to cut costs.

Yeah it's different with big clubs, with thousands being on a waiting list. Other clubs like Everton for example you can buy half season tickets like sweets.

Yeah, in LFC Boston the main reason to join the supporters club was wanting to be able to be surrounded by hundreds of fellow fans every week to watch a match in a great atmosphere. So much better than sitting at home watching.
Once we became 'official; it opened doors to members to be able to have access to tickets for several game per year, additional tour access at the stadium, for us to be able to host "legends events" at our club (getting hammered with Grobbelaar and losing a few hundred on the golf course was a particular highlight), other promotional events.
Its all good

You should be able to snag yourself a home ticket to the derby at Goodison then
Remeber the fake Liverpool ST waiting lists numbers, now you have to pay, how many wait?
Do City even have 260 fans?
Where the Fack is Man Utd in that list? We own most of Asia ffs., what do you think Ed Woodward does, it’s not football?
