Just back from game we were actually good today

Will Villa ever play that well again this season?

id like to think so but doubt it

I thought Villa where very organised in the 2nd half and pressed Derby high up which made it difficult for Derby to play their normal game.

Wow!!! We won!!! Had to go out, when I got back and saw the result I was shocked.

OK, I had us down to win 2-0, but turned on the tele with that feeling of dread that I was just being deluded. Massive win. Seems we missed a load of chances before finally hitting the net.

The Dean Smith revolution continues. A load of us has always felt we had good players but that Bruce was incapable of using them.

Minor set back for Derby. Like us you're still developing and I think you'll have a good season.

Bogle was at fault for the first two goals. Yes he's a good young player but his lack of experience is costing us goals. He is probably getting too close to the wide attacker so being turned too easily.

Lawrence was ineffective and missed a good chance. Flojo was even less effective when he came on. Bennett was having a decent game. Could have been a different result had he not been injured. We lost control of the game after he went off.

Thought Marriott battled well throughout.

TL gave the ball away cheaply for their 2nd and killer goal

If you don't take your chances against a squad like villa have a cute manager in Smith well then you will be punished.

As long as they learn from it and we will, it's a decent learning curve.

Break has come at the right time.

Dirties just being hammered by a team who we give a lesson to.

This league is something else.

Yeah real good friends, felt like I let them down but quite the opposite.

No mate. When we left they were a bit down about the game. But understandable as we have been superb lately.

It easy to be cliche after a defeat like that.

But having listened to Franks interview after the game we won't have to many disappointments at home this season.

We got a lesson from a team who only lost out by a goal to be in the PL so take it on the chin and learn.

This side will bounce backo mate. Ive no doubts about it. Poor 2nd half today but give Villa some credit they did well 2nd half.
