I sense another Nasri situation.

Arsenal in a tail spin

The one win they got (against Swansea) was pure luck

RRP getting all serious for a second:

I couldn't be doing with RVP in a Spurs shirt...i would like to kick him quite hard in the groin area

posted on 20/9/11

I'd just buy him so Arsenal lose their best player, and they'll get relegated.

Doovde you little

No.

Torres last Jan was the real cheeky bid I was hoping to see from Spurs (remember the "Torres seen at WHL" articles on BBC Spurs 606 ) .

Seriously though, the current form + departure of Fibreglas/Nasri + final yr of contract (if true) is a brew Wenger won't want stewing for too long.

If he did go, I could only see him going to a big Euro club, or home to a club in Holland.

Dream on we only sell our captains to Barca

From an Arsenals fans point of view, they must be livid that once again one of their top players is allowed to run down his contract

Not just him, Theo and Vermaelen are in the same situation.

Batmanu - Has RVP been offered a new contract, with 18 months to go its risky not too

posted on 20/9/11

Really?! I reckon Theo will stay... Unless Real or Barca come calling, but as he's complete s__t I can't see that happening.

Where is Vermaelen?! He was awesome when he first signed... Has he died or something?

posted on 20/9/11

No he has not to my knowledge. I think only Vermaelen has been offered a contract. Our board are a disgrace. On the other and I wouldn't waste time insulting RVP with a contract offer in our current predicament.

Doovde he had surgery again won't be back until later October.

Doovde :

AFAIK Vernaelen has caught Ledley-itis.
Similarly it must be a worry whether they will get one injury-free season from him.

posted on 20/9/11

I think RVP will stay you know, what ever happens, just doesn't hit me as someone who wouldn't stay when the times are tough, cant stand the git personally but i also cant see him leaving

posted on 20/9/11

Nah not worried about TV, he just has a dodgy achilles and this operation has apparently sorted the problem. It's Wilshere I'm worried about, I get the feeling he might be our Vermaelen from last season when we simply don't know what is wrong with him or how to cure him!

RRP he's probably more passionate about Arsenal than any of the other oafs in our team, he definitely loves the club and is loyal to us but in reality he is too good to finish his career with no trophies and he will be getting on a bit in the next few years so I wouldn't blame him.

Batmanu :

Keep him away from Twitter + tacky nights out on the p#ss.

Only thing that cheers me up these days are Jack's tweets and how much they wind you lot up

(fake ?? ) Coulibaly tweets > Wilsheres.

Thats what i get from him as well, he does love a good old moan on the pitch, but i would rather a player moan and throw his toys around than just not care at all

next summer both RVP & Walcott will have 1 year left and will be in the same situation as Nasri this summer.

If Arsenal's poor form continues, then they will be in no rush to re-sign.

And if Arsenal's glorious run of 13 years of CL comes to an end next season, there is NO WAY those 2 will be re-signing.

Wenger and the Board are making a right Horlicks of running Arsenal right now, and if the worst happens, you can imagine RVP & Walcott leaving on deadline day and Arsenal making some hurried last ditch purchases...Carlton Cole & David Bentley is my hunch

RRP :

Do you love Suarez then ??
