Absolutely correct by Collum and the SFA.
Now if Collum had said that he didn't see Candeias gesturing but had only heard it.....
Must have some pair of lugs to hear someone gesturing

It’s a daft booking, as was the appeal. Believe the appeal was only done to make a point by Rangers as it was always going to fail.

Can't never heard fack all. Was desperate to give rangers a penalty that day. I know Collum and I know exactly what he's up to.
correct decision..
don't know what the fuss was all about...
Candeias, doing this now, but only a few weeks prior ,he wouldn't shake anyone's hand after getting beat
poor show tbh. Gerrard needs to sort it out.

What did Ferdinand get booked for ................... gesturing at Candeias chin with his fist, snidey cvnt.
Brought it on himself.
Could've incited a riot.
Etc

That’s still a ridiculous booking and red card.
If that’s a booking surely Ferdinand should’ve been sent off for striking Candeias?

Ferdinand got a yellow for his part in it.
I know but is that enough for his jab to the chin? May not have been much but still intent was there and it could’ve been perceived as violent conduct.
Candeias is a bit daft for doing it but it’s very harsh. Ferdinand’s conduct is far more deserving of a card imo.
Doesn’t really matter as it’s done now but Collum is a total helmet regardless.
Think it was harsh on Candeias and at least a yellow for Ferdinand.
He blew him a kiss while celebrating. That apparently is a yellow card. Mental
Collum doesn’t like gaays.
I think Gerrard and Rangers will be gobsmacked at what Collum deemed worthy of fouls and cards.
Mind you there’s nothing new here. The inconsistency of refs is quite shocking.
Atakayi was on the park ten mins when the guy went in with a late high boot which took Atakayi right out and he’s now injured. I don’t even think a foul was given. Certainly not a card anyway.
The most ridiculous backtracking. If that was the reason for the yellow (he blew a kiss), then why did the ref not mention it to the player at the time of showing the card? Ludicrous lies to cover a mistake, neither wonder our "product" is so undervalued...

How do you know that the ref didn't mention it to him at the time?
Did you all think that collum had just decided to book the player for no reason whatsoever.?

This is one of the most bizarre explanations I have seen.
The second yellow was for 'two incidents'?
1. Gesturing towards an opponent and then 2. 'becoming further involved' with an opponent as he made his way up field.
So these two things add up to a yellow card now?
How much of the yellow card was the gesture and how much was the second part?
And if he had only made the gesture and not got involved with Ferdinand (and by getting 'involved' all Candeais did was speak to him as Ferdinand put him in a wee head lock) then would he have just been booked for the gesture? You have to think not as the subsequent involvement wouldn't have been brought up as part of it.
And if he wouldn't have been booked for the gesture alone then how much involvement with another player after making a gesture tips you over the yellow card threshold?
Does this mean that if Candeais hadn't allowed Ferdinand to manhandle him then he could have escaped a red card?
It is utterly comical to be honest.
Embarrassing is the right word.
