The lad McKay should get an outing, and any news on the Argentinian?
I've not got Naismith.
The other option is McKay for Ortiz, but I think Ortiz needs confidence. McKay and Bedoya will get their chance.

Last I heard young Hemmings was out for 4 months with a knee injury...
Raman
Goian and Bocanegra are doing well but for a good defensive
understanding they need to play together.
That is part of the problem at Celtic, the quality of central defender
is not great but I'm sure in their 10 games the Ginger tactical
genius has used about half a dozen pairings.
Hutton is on loan at Partick Thistle....
Good chance to rest a couple of players. Was at the Livingston v Falkirk game a couple of weeks ago and Falkirk are nothing to worry about.
...........Alexanden
Broadfoot Goian Bocanegra Papac
Ortiz Davis McCulloch McKay
...Jelavic Lafferty
think naismith could do with a rest but everybody else should be fine
is weir back for this one?
walter usualy always played a strong team in the league cup
i don't expect all to be ally different
first trophy available so he will be desperate to win it
i don't expect ally to be any different that should have been
weir is close to return and had fitness test b4 old firm game he was going to play with goain i think ally wants that as his first choice centre half pairing
I'd go with
Alexander,
McMillan, Goian, Perry, Wallace(if he's fit),
Ortiz, Davis, McCulloch, McKay
Fleck, Jelavic/Lafferty
I think the need to keep key players injury-free is more important than other considerations so I'd go with something like:
Alexander
Perry McMillan Broadfoot Papac
Ortiz Bedoya McCulloch McKay
Healy Fleck
subs to include: Cole, Kerkar, Bendiksen, +++
is fleck still around he no go on loan?
i'd rest Papac and give Kenny McDowall a run out at left back. He doesn't seem to get much game time, but i've heard he's a flying machine.

Fleck and Hutton nearly went to Sheff. Utd but late paperwork caused deal to fail so Hutton went to Partick Th. and Fleck stayed at Ibrox
