I dislike all London accents but I detest the white London youth that speaks a mixture of South London, downtown Los Angeles and Kingston, Jamaica.
Posh upper class- great on women, blokes sound effeminate
How has brummie only been mentioned once? It’s the biggest aids accent going.

Have you got a lot of posters blocked? It's been mentioned more than anything else (Cockney may excepted) and leads the "vote".
I’ve seen West Country but isn’t that more Wolverhampton/Bromwich? They all sound the same anyway.

I assume you mean Black country. West country is something else again, and I won't hear a word said against it.
Yeah Black Country the feck is West Country
The Cornish accent is pretty dopey sounding.

"South African always sounds like someone impersonating an accent."
--------
I get that too. It always sounds to me like someone attempting an Australian accent and failing.
But personally, the one I can't stand is New Yoik.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Sith Ifrecan (white) and Oz accents sound nothing alike. You're probably talking about the Kiwi accent, which somehow manages to sound like a weird bastardisation of the two.
Oz: "Wut toyme is it? It's six fifteen, maayte."
SA: " Wutt taaahm uzz utt? Utt's sux fuhfteen, mehn."
Kiwi: " Wut toyme uzz ut? Ut's six fufteen, maayte."
Gillespie Road - No, definitely Oz. That's just how it sounds to me though. The first time I heard a proper SA accent (quite late in life, teens), my first impression was:
"Wow, that's a cr@p Australian accent."
It's just never left me.
I suppose what you're saying is that Brummie would also be a cr@p Glaswegian accent, which would also be true.
Incidentally, I don't like my own accent - generic East Midlands. It always sounds to me like we're lazily slurring our words for no poetic gain. At least the likes of Scouse and Geordie have a bit of life to them even if it's difficult at times to work out what the actual words are.
Surprised DbD/geech/cosmic hasn’t waded into this thread....

They seem to invent most of the new stupid words that we could of done without.
The Brummie accent for me. As soon as I start talking to a Brummie it instantly makes me feel tired. I find it difficult to have any interest in what they are saying, irrespective of what the topic might be.
I like pretty much every accent bar Brummie. Sucks the life out of you.
Ours is the sexiest accent around
Geordie is probably the most difficult accent to understand in the country.
where's Karl Pilkington from?

Love the South African accent.
A lot of girls at uni liked Manc and Irish accents.
Scouse and Geordie (not too strong) is nice on girls.
Funniest is Safrikkin, hardest to understand - tie between NI and Scots. Dumbest is American Southern Redneck.best _Mancunian (always sounds warm and cosy)
That sort of generic London accent you can find heard on random çhāvš anywhere around the south of England. It’s basically people who think they’re London gansters and probably listen to grime. Heard it anywhere from Southampton, Swindon, Bristol, reading etc. You’re not from inner city London! So dont talk like that!
I can’t stand that London ghetto accent you hear in grime music, ughh. Grime is also a cancer to music and needs to die.
