Are you gonna tell me that he's "one of the greats" though?
Pochettino, with little cash to spend, has built the Spurs side and achieved nothing. Zero. Not even a final.
1. Pep
2. Mourinho
3. Emery
4. Klopp
All managers in the PL better than Poch. Doubt anyone can seriously argue against this.
this is all smoke screens, Juve coach said same, then out foxed us
1. Pep
2. Mourinho
3. Emery
4. Klopp
Everyone one of them has walked into a big club with large squads full of quality.
Do you think Pep would get Everton (for example) to City's level in 2-3 years? No.
When Poch took over, we had a bang average squad.
First teamers like:
Benoit Asso-ekotto (sp)
Andros Townsend
Vlad Chriches
Fazio
Yedlin
Capoue (who carp for us)
Benji Stambouli
Adebayor
Soldado
Now look at our squad with minimal spend and where we are. Consistently in the top 2-3, in the CL every year. We just need to get up another level.
Poch is without doubt one of the greats at building teams on a shoestring. He has done marvels at Spurs, top three, three years in a row on an absolute pittance of what the other managers have spent.
Guardiola, Mourinho and Klopp are all just chequebook managers, take all the money away from them and I doubt they could manage a Fulham. They certainly would not be able to do what Poch has done and get three top three finishes with very little spend.

OK fair point, but again Pochettino has walked in the Spurs job and done what exactly? He's been at Spurs for more than 4 years and the most you can say is he's made Spurs into a top 4 club. Is that worthy of being a "great"?

Emery never did anything than top four at his previous clubs in their relevant leagues, other than going to France and the one team league, with PSG. My granny could win the title with them as it currently stands.
He has yet to manager an Arsenal team to beat anything other than cannon fodder since he has been over here.

I’d rather have Poch by a country mile than any of
those you mentioned and that includes Pep, who is outstanding when he has a bottomless pit of money to spend.
Barcelona, Madrid & Man Utd have attempted to lure Poch in recent years so he is clearly thought of as one of the best around.
You also need to get your facts right, we got to the 2015 capital one final.

Anyway, this isn't a Poch vs every other manager in the league argument i'm making.
Pochettino is one of the best young managers in the league. He's a top tacitian and i'm sure he'll go on to cement his name as one of the best.
My point is only that Spalletti is obviously on the WUM. Poch isn't "one of the greats". You have to achieve something tangible first to be among the greats. But he is, nonetheless, a top class manager.
