Ranger got a good result last night.
McGregor was world class, despite suicidal defending at times. Villarreal were ok, good in midfield.

Either team could have won the game. We play a team we've already beat to go through, all of us would have taken that at the start.

I see you're playing Hearts on Sunday and apparently Stephen Yaxley-Lennon will be in attendance.

a 0-0 draw against a spanish side that finished high enough in la liga to qualify for europe - especially with 10 men - is a decent result. Regardless of their current form or home/away. 3 seasons ago hearts battered you to the championship - now you win away against a definitely beatable team and you are in the last 32 of europe. Its certainly progres.

It’s all relative. Obviously this season Salzburg hsve bern far better in the domestic league bit over 5 years Vienna have been more successful in Europe.

The point obviously being, our group isn’t as weak as some are making out and could be argued it’s every bit as tough.

No runaway leader in our group like Salzburg and no whipping boys like Rosenborg.

The rankings are a bit off but there's no way its the easiest group in Europa history. Its not as tough as it might've been especially as a fourth seed but before a ball was kicked many expected Rangers to struggle in every match

No doubt I’m glad we got Vienna as oppose to Salzburg but the way some are going on you’d think our group was made up of Cowdenbeath, Peterhead and Alloa.

Not one from la liga, one from Russia who were Russian champs in last 12 months and the traditionally biggest club in Austria

one could - but I think they would be wrong. Because common sense tells you that the 2 RB teams are better than either of the top 2 teams in rangers group. Celtic are obviously better than rangers - OBVIOUSLY . I think tht salzburg were semi finalists too last season (?) which kind of usurps vienna's recent euro history.

Ergo the group is harder. Rosenborg id wholeheartedly agree.

That said, i dont think rangers group is easy in the sense that there is equality between the teams and that makes it sometmes more difficult to qualify which i think is kind of your point.

If rangers do qualify it will be a massive feat and a well done is deserved. Or would be if...

Your club hadnt cheated and died etc.
