I'm pretty sure that if we lost to City and Chelsea then we would not be in as good a position as we are. But we didn't which is why we're two points off top.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
my point was that by getting those two results it papered over the cracks of your deficiencies.
which it did.

correctly stating that if youd of lost to chelsea and city youd be worse off. that your football is now gegenhoof, that your midfield is hilarious even after spending 100m on it.
and i get 5 scouse turds chomping at the bit.

I think weve passed the ball better and we're a bit deep. Ive seen us put in some good performances, bad performances and average performances but also feel we'll get stronger as the season gets on. Overall Im happy enough. Sorry.
We need some more creativity in midfield, I'll accept that. Although it is better when Shaqiri plays, and I was a bit disappointed that he didn't start against PSG. But Keita is still finding his feet and has been disrupted by injuries, we'll see how he fares over the coming months. But we are two points off top and unbeaten in the league, and could yet top our group in the CL. And this is without our attack firing on all cylinders. Not too many complaints from me.

Yeah and Jose said he'd play attractive football. Managers chat sh!t.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nice football or trophies.....
Tell who is Liverpool manager now. The German Poch.
Maybe Mourinho is under pressure because his team are declining month on month it seems.
Maybe he's under pressure because after a few years at the club, a lot of money spent, his team have no discernible style of play, and he seems for the most part to not even know his best team.
Maybe Mourinho is under more pressure because there is every chance his team could be 17 points off top spot, and 15 behind Klopps team after just 14 games.
As regards the media, I imagine Mourinho has just become a little tiring to listen to, after the early years of journalists acting like excitable schoolgirls in his presence.
In terms of Klopp, well of course he will be under pressure if he doesn't return a trophy to the Anfield cabinet again this season, but you then have to think if his team come runners up to this City team, its a pretty tough call to look to replace him on the basis of that being failure, and then looking to start over.
I also think United fans have enough to discuss amongst themselves, without worrying whether their manager is being picked on in comparison to others, as it's totally irrelevant to your manager, and you clubs current position.

That’s exactly why I said the Chelsea and city results papered over the cracks
If you were 6 or whatever points behind city now then the league is gone. That team isn’t gonna drop that many and you have a perfect run from now till May.
So if you were sitting here 6 points off city and facing a do or die with Napoli I’m not so sure you’d all be so content especially given the negative change of play.
So again, papered over cracks. Loss or draw to Napoli and unexpected slip in the league and I’ll be very keen to get your thoughts then
We'd still be second Benji. Perhaps drop this angle as it doesnt make sense.

Some mental gymnastics going on in that head of yours to be talking about a team papering over the cracks, who are unbeaten, have conceded 5 goals all season in the premier league, and currently sit 2 points off top spot.
You seem to be completely discounting the team your chasing
Any gap to them is huge and while they just race to 3-0 leads inside fifteen minutes you’re churning out results playing badly
I know where my money would be each week if I had to pick most likely to drop points

Not at all. They are huge favourites for the league and rightly so. But I'm not sure what this post has to do with anything, and I'm not sure even you know what point you're trying to make.
Eh?
We have no control over what City do. Even if we hadnt got those two draws we'd be second and five points off a team that would have dropped two points all season.

To be fair, I was surprised by the patience of United fans on the whole.
I remember thinking they would be all over Moyes as soon as things turned even slightly sour, but to their credit, they held back from going full tilt on him, and similarly you know that they must be upset at the football, and to some extent the attitude Mourinho has brought to the club, but for the most part have looked to be supportive.
A few more bad results though, and I don't see this level of patience lasting much longer, and who could blame them.
