How good has Aird been for you? Noticed a few assists

Watched the majority of the game.

Dundee United really need much better than boys like McMullan, Aird, the lad up front and those 2 centre halfs.

Fyvie is a decent player and would do well in a step up.

Stanton is average and your full backs were way short of anything required to play the way you tried to play.

I must admit, i expected much more from DU on Friday.

Shankland is a good finisher but his overall game still has a lot of work needed. His Mum works in my mate's office and apparently he's off to the English championship in Jan or the summer with a deal of £650,000 with add ons already being agreed between two clubs.

The boy Moffat ran the game btw, tidy wee player. A skinnier and fitter Gary Harkins.

Unreal from Shankland. Surely a decent move awaits for him.

Watched a bit of the game on Fri night, the boy McDaid out on the wing was playing like Cristiano Ronaldo , looked superb and unbelievable he's playing at that level Admittedly I've seen nothing of him so may have been a one off but he looked great.

5-0

look at the f...ing state of that, 5-0 off Ayr United.

u should be ashamed of yourself quite frankly, its your fault.

Karma for Jackie.

thats what you are getting.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jackie only wanted what's best for the club.

Took them to a final as well.

He's got terrific deliveries into the box but his overall game isn't particularly good. He gives us a threat at set pieces though.

So did I mate, so did I

Stanton was rotten on Friday, Fyvie looked unfit and slow.

Safranko is a good player though but just didn't show up on Friday.

Remember Jackie is a kant though.

Oops, your comment disappeared, but I agree, Jackie is kant and I hope he gets kicked in the balls by a donkey.

Nah, the number 7 who played just off Shankland.

Pitiful crowd on Friday as well Ivan.

Surely a Friday night home game against top of the league is ideal for fans?

Apathy setting in to the majority at United maybe?

I want you guys back so i can get back to slagging you on here for being sheidt in the same division

I don't really follow lower league football and I was out last Friday and was very drunk. I only caught the score at 6am on Saturday when I woke up and was still drunk. I was going to write 5 articles on here.

The first one would have been titled "Ivan", then the second article would be "What's the Score?" then the 3rd article would have been "Ivan", then the 4th article would also have been "Ivan", the 5th article would have been "What's the Score?"

So when you looked at the most recent articles it would have come up

Ivan
What's the Score?
Ivan
Ivan
What's the Score?

But the other way around. Maybe. But I fell asleep.

Big time.

Folk always slip away when you're not doing well and we've seen that over the last few years. It's been pitiful and folk are just making excuses now because they don't want to go when the team is pash.

We're in danger of getting worse attendances than Dundee now.

I know one of the Ayr Utd players that was playing on Friday night.

He said United have some decent footballers but as soon as the going got tough they didn't fancy it and crumbled.

Pretty strange to hear about a Robbie Nielson team.

Being fair to Neilson I dont think he brought in this group of players and is working with what he inherited. He cant change the mentality of them if they crumble when things get tough. Its still a shocking result.

Friday night games are brilliant as well.

Honestly wished he had them rather than Sunday games.

Fans should be chomping at the bit to go.

"Sometimes in football you get a stark reality check that takes the wind out of you".

With us it was Juventus, with you it was Ayr United.

Only messin'. Look on it as a blip.

To be fair, last time we got pumped by a title opponent (Ross County, 5-1 at home) we then went up there a few weeks later and beat them on their own patch.

Let's hope the same happens again.
