Not really seen it myself. I do see a lot of City fans on here take a singular thing and then apply it to literally millions of Liverpool fans though. Perhaps start there and work backwards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree. Would you agree this isnt a one sided rivalry tho.
I think it has become one and we have always had one with everton aswel. Thats just my opinion going there tho. Everton always seem to hate city.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Been some cracking games between both scouse clubs and City over the last few years tbf.
I don't think teams are rolling over. City are good and have about 37 different ways to win and they normally find a way simple as. Kudos imo.
Hurts to say it but there is no title race this season - City for me will hit max points, goals and a few more records no doubt. I’ve stated this before and the only thing that may keep the numbers down is if they decide to focus on cups of the league is wrapped up we may see the odd draw or loss but that will be City’s choice
There’s not much between Spurs, Us, Chelsea and Arsenal but City are far superior
The one thing you may be referring to is that teams probably do write off the game against City and I can understand why - Why risk your top players who may get silly injury against them when you’ll only get tonked anyway so teams probably don’t go for broke against them but that’s credit to the monster that City are
The great Liverpool side of the late 70’s 80’s had a fear factor, teams knew they would probably get a tonking, arsenal in the first few years of Wenger were the same.

City fans have tried to create this rivalry eve since r their sour, bitter humiliation in the champions league last season.
Unfortunately for them, we're just not really interested.

What do the Liverpool fans sing about City? Genuine question I've not heard a song.
I know City do a version of allez allez allez which is quite funny.
Kneerash
Your right there but your team and manager.thinks.about city. And your fans might not think were a rival. But Your thinking about us.. and we.might sing cos we got cheated and u boo sterling... who is the best in the league right now
I mean of course they think about City how wouldn't they?
Right now I'd hope city is the team they're focussing on and looking to keep as close as we can to you, I'd expect nothing less with how the league has gone so far.
Pep thinks about us, he says it in the documentary and he visibly changed tactics when you came to Anfield, and rightly so as it got a point that could easily have been 3.
It is a crime for liverpool or city fans to admit they two managers and fans think about the other club?
i praised City on football live thread you can go see, only negative thing i remember saying was about Fernandino being unbookable which he is.
What i praised was City despite having midgets kept whipping crosses in and asking questions making them defend. Reminded me of arguments with other Liverpool fans on here saying why do i want us to cross it to midgets etc.
Its nice to keep pace this far but im under no illusions and lets be realistic we are still a long way off, 230 million + squad difference. Until we add another 3 van djik level players to the team i won't be expecting us to beat city to the league.

Happy to admit I think about football a lot I guess.

I've never known us ding about City but may have missed it. In fact sit in the Annie Road end and the stewards are now telling people to sit down and not be too noisy now (which is fvcking ridiculous btw).

About as often as you properly think your posts through.
When the hell have we ever sung about City?
They are no different to Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs to us. Challengers for positions, yes, but no rivalry there.
City fans sucking lemons about being battered 5-1 isn't going to change that.
