Lets have a look, oh i see we are level on points with Leicester, thats a surprise given we are in a relegation battle this season
Wait, only 1 point behind shoe in top seven Everton, anyone seen that Arouna fella
I enjoyed the last 15 minutes of that, as for the rest..........well played Toon!
No wonder Rafa is furious, we were not the best team there today.
we were 3 points better than ewcaste

Deserved win. Apart from a spell in the first half Newcastle rarely looked like scoring and once we made the subs we controlled the midfield and could have scored more with Jiminez hitting the bar and Jota fouled when clean through.
Up to 10th
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You don't half talk crap
Newcastle ran us ragged in the last half hour and kept us under a lot of pressure with ten men. We lost control of midfield completely with the first subs and only regained it when Moutinho came on 10-15 mins later.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mutty realy did steady the ship
Thought MGW did ok but nothing more
Jiménez.......can’t make my mind up on his value? Think he’d look Better, with better players around him, if you know what I mean
Good to see Saiss getting games again
Great 3 points from Nuno Halfy and the boys
What odds on Jota being our top scorer this season.
Good to know that Saiss is capable of stepping in at this level when needed and perhaps best used in games when we won't see much ball

Nah, a January signing gets that
Jota Wolves MoM for me today.
Yeah think i agree, the break did him good, Costa needs the same break now as he is struggling.

Would go with that Cinci. Think I would start Jiminez and Jota next game, but who with? MGW? Traore? Cavaleiro?

Definitely MGW for me. I love Jota and Jimenez up front with MGW behind them. So much goal potential!

MGW with Cav first bench option.
I guess Nuno feels he has to give Traore games given his dumb transfer fee but he isn't anywhere near as good as Cavaleiro and come to that neither is Costa
Boly penalty?
Probably, but would have been a red card and a goal. Great ref Mike Dean
That was abysmal. Good result, though. About time we had some luck and that's two games running.
Traore is a brain-dead roadrunner.
Costa is a snowflake.
Cav is moody.
Get rid of them and we might go places with a 4-4-2
Seems like Cinci has his claws into Costa. Not a great game, but did Traore or even Neves do any batter?
Agree that Costa was poor, not for the first time. Neves was OK for me, but Traore is lacking something, possibly a brain.

I like Costa but i can't stand when players get chance after chance when they don't deserve it, he has been largely crap this season but for a few games here or there but gets selected week after week.
I think he would benefit from a few games out which is exactly what i said about Jota when he was crap the first few months and look how that turned out.
Sorry Neves has been poor, Moutihno moved the ball around much better when he came on.
I'm not having a go at Neves though, but he is a much better player than he is showing at the moment.
Traore, better as an impact sub on the wing for me, Costa is a good player and on his day makes things happen.
Saiss was as good as Neves to be honest but once they had ten Neves was likely going to offer more going forward but it so happened we were a bit of a mess after the first subs for a bit and toon had a good spell til Moutinho sorted it out when he came on.
Saiss was better than Neves in my opinion. he had got booked though so a reasonable sub, and Neves is the talisman of the team, so very hard to take off.
Neves had a largely defensive game for the first hour but won the ball for us on a lot of occasions, then got forward more when Moutinho helped take us forward more than when Saiiss was on. Costa didn't get into the game enough but set up the goal and set up Jiminez when he hit the bar. When him and Jota have started together we have got 18 points from 10 games, an average of points per game that would have us in 6th if we had replicated that in November when they were split up
Traore like Cavaleiro we need to use only as an impact sub now. Wouldn't mind seeing Dendoncker get another chance though. But the 11 that ended todays game are surely our best starting 11.
