Over the last 3 seasons when I have seen these type of posts I would put De Gea in without a thought.

Now that we have the best keeper in the world I can't say that.

Not really, he was voted the best keeper in Italy last season beating Buffon.

De Gea (whilst being Utd’s best player & making some saves) hasn’t had a great season so far.

Buffon is well past his best, De Gea is still the best for his longevity, been the best 4-5 seasons.
