Hiring Blanc and then potentially Poch next summer will probably be the most sensible decision the club will have made since hiring Fergie. Not holding my breath though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Blanc isn't going to come in for 6 months is he?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
According to the Times he seems to be up for it.
Has Klopp had his press conference yet? Bet he’ll be giddy at getting the guy sacked
A Blanc chequebook in January then?
Fact: Since Mourinho was appointed, Man Utd won fewer PL games than any of the 'Big 6' teams (50 of their 93 PL fixtures).
Fack me, even Wenger won more.
Having players playing with a smile and a bit of freedom to attack will be like a new signing in January.
Can someone ring up Van Gaal for his thoughts
FFS though can we at least pick an interim that resembles the same kind of football/management style that they are looking for in the permanent manager.
Last thing we want is someone coming in, going a certain way, players once again getting used to new ways, then someone else coming in completely different again in 6 months.

yeah viddy disappeared about the same time Fellaini came on at half time
I’m very pleased Conte’s Name hasn’t been mentioned at all, not even by the tabloids.
Will be Poch swap with Jose.
Jose back in London

Manchester United don’t want Zinedine Zidane. Are prepared to wait for Mauricio Pochettino once they have an experienced caretaker like Laurent Blanc in charge for the rest of the season.
I hope he's right though tbf, would be happy with all of that.

If Jose does go to another Premier League club, you can guarantee this decision will come back to haunt us.

I wasn't around all day.
I was out Chrismas shopping with the Mrs during the game, then went to the pub to watch the Redskins. I saw the line up and thought it would be preferable.
How right I was.

The mirror are crap Mike, honestly the reporting on United has been shoddy the last few years. Wouldn’t trust any of them, except for the BBC.

So Laurent Blanc is indeed being touted as potential caretaker manager...

Sensible choice I would think.
Jose should take a long rest from football, two sackings in a row must have severely dented his ego and put off potential suitors. He needs to evolve his playing style and man management if he still wants to stay at the top. Tough ask for a 55 year old bloke though.
They’re playing clips of Blanc lifting the PL trophy on Sky how good times they were

Does Blanc have an attractive style of play? I cant remember.
I don't know if it's just because of the difficulty of prising him away from Spurs, but I can't get that enthused about Pochettino
