Why would Spurs players have any connection to the fans though realistically?

Which of them actually grew up supporting Spurs? How many trophies have they won at Spurs? How many of them ambitions of winning trophies at a bigger club than Spurs? That goes for the manager too. There are probably more Arsenal fans in the Spurs playing staff than there is Spurs fans.
