Occasional defender of Lawrence though I am, I’m quite pleased he is absent so that one of Holmes, Wagstaff or Zoom can play and we will all have a chance to see if they are the waste of money that we have all decided that they are. I also hope Bryson gets the day off. Maybe Evans might get a run out or maybe Lampard will go back to Wilson centrally and two different wide men. Expecting a very decent game given how Brizzle tend to play. I like the look of Lloyd Kelly for them, will watch him closely.

In other footie related news, Sheff Wed have just sacked Jos Luhukay.

They are a few days early. They sacked club hero Derek Dooley, the guy who lost a leg playing for them, on Christmas eve. Not really the best bit of public relations they have ever done.

Their accent is like a pirate, that's why their friends and neighbours are called the Pirates. This accent is very similar to the Naarrfolk accent and the Coorrnish one.

I think Waghorn will have to be in the squad cuz we haven't got many others. I'm yet to be convinced about him on the wing, he looks wrong for a winger to me.

Spart I wonder if you could help me; when Brian Clough picked Alan Durban after leaving him out for a while and seemed to have fallen out with him, he said it was either him or something to do with Nottingham Pork butchers. Can you remember the actual quote?
