Don, Liverpool win the league.

i see no reason why they can't win it
vvd and becker have improved them so much at the back
merry christmas you scouse feckers
I’m the biggest pessimist out there but even I’m impressed with our points return.
I mean, 48 points out of 54 is outrageous and in any other season, would have seen you go on to win the league.
Having said that, City are still the outstanding favourites for me.
If we win at the Etihad to go 4 points clear, assuming ourselves and City win all their games leading up to the match - then I’ll start believing.
We seem to unfortunately coincide our title pushes with record breakers. Back in 2009 under Rafa, we lost the title to United who broke the consecutive clean sheets record. Then in 2014, City broke the goals scored record. Now this City side are record point haulers.
We need to keep key players fit and hope that City crack under the pressure of being chasers and not pace setters.
Liverpool look strong and quietly confident. I think and hope they win it, but City will be there.
I suppose a bit will come down to how far each team go in the CL.
Don
This City side are probably the best in premier league history imo so finishing above them would be an incredible achievement. Going to need 96 points imo.
If VVD and Salah stay fit for the rest of the season, we have a chance.

Sandy also said Napoli would beat Liverpool, Man United would beat Liverpool, and Wolves would get a draw.
I think we can all agree, Sandy's judgement is some what flawed, due to his hatred of Liverpool, renedering his opinion, or point of view, as pretty much an irrelevance.
As for winning the league, of course we can, but it's going to be incredibly difficult. With a team like City on your tail, you pretty much have to win every game.
If Liverpool can win their next two at home, and get any kind of result at the etihad, then yes, we are well placed to go on and win the title, but it's going to take a similar level of performance and results we have seen in the first half of the season, which is a big ask.
Man City are an amazing team, so for me are still favourites to win the title.

Morning Don and happy Christmas. City’s squad will see them to the title but we’re up on 90 plus points comfortably second.
Champions league is a more realistic trophy for us.
Fack the fa cup, don’t care if we get knocked out in the first round.

Don, problem is I know my stuff and go to games. GM knows not a lot, and has never been to Anfield in his life. Oh and I have seen Spurs win the title, GB never has.
Well of course GB has never seen Spurs win the title
You are right Sandy, I don’t actually think GB has ever been to see Liverpool

So we lost to Napoli and Utd and got a draw last night.
Fack me cancel Christmas
It’s still a 3 horse race. 6 points (9 with game in hand for rest) is nothing.
I personally don’t think City are as good as last season and of late have shown vulnerabilities. Having said that they are still the best of the 3 and have one of the best players in the world back.

If it's a 3 horse race, you'd have to say it's a 4 horse race.
Spurs go to Everton, which will be tough, and Chelsea at home to Leicster.
Could have Chelsea in third by the end of the weekend.
In a season were the top 2 are consistently winning games, 6 points or 7 as it really is, is a fair old gap.

That`s the way I see it, still lots to play for, and yes nine points sounds a lot, but things can change very quickly, with still half the season still to play.

Yes it is, but just say Liverpool drop points at home to Arsenal, not impossible, and lose at City, and say Spurs win a few on the bounce of their very winnable Xmas fixtures, that gap could be down to a point even as quick as the New Year. Chelsea are still in it as well as you say.
Will we win the league this season? Don't know, don't care. All I care about my club at this instance is the game on Boxing Day against the Toon. Not the Arsenal or City games, they're not on the radar yet.
The biggest surprise for me this season, and I'm sure I can't be alone on this, is the complete change in play, from gegenpress, flat-out, blitzkrieg, 109 attack attack attack, to what, exactly? My best definition is: total domination. No matter who has the ball, where it is, what's going on, the team dominate, and dominate throughout.
Last night's game looked really difficult for the Reds. Wolves certainly deserve their place in the PL. it will be interesting to see who come top between them and United by the end of season.
May I wish my fellow Reds a very merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.

Everton's home form is decent.
They'll probably score at least one goal and from there it depends on whether Spurs will score enough to take it away from them.
Every game we clench our left bum cheeks tightly, hoping City will drop points. They are still favourites for me. It would be mind boggling if we beat them to the title. Almost too good to be true, sadly.
I'm sorry but Spurs and Chelsea aren't part of the conversation. We are outsiders and haven't lost a game yet. Genuinely looks like a maximum of 2 slip ups type season for whoever wins it. The rest have already used those up.
Liverpool have been so impressive. I didn't think they could keep pace with City, but halfway through the season they have and they are doing it convincingly.
My two concerns for them are a) injuries. If a player like Salah or VVD got injured they don't have the depth like City when KDB, Silva etc are out. 2) If they lose to city in a couple of weeks it may hit them pretty hard. Really think they need to still be top after that match.
