I think they are. It would be fantastic if Poch could get the title and come to us as a champion in the summer.

Sandy keeps saying it’s a two horse race between them and City. Which I suppose is why they are third.

Blackstarr,

It’s a big pressure to handle when you are top of the league (I know, I know United have f***ked up in this equation for a long while now

But remaining at the top - especially when you haven’t had the experience of winning the title in modern times (not a dig) can sometimes be more overwhelming than at first expected. The business end of the season can sometimes fall prey onto unsuspected victims. But it is that lesson learned that drives you on for the next season. Sometimes it may take a couple/few seasons to get there, but in a league that is as competitive as it gets then your chances of winning it becomes slimmer.

The PL is the only top level league in Europe that has seen the title change hands every season since United won the 3 back to back titles after 08/09 season. Yes, there have been times when clubs have won it multiple times within that time frame, but it hasn’t been a back to back title feat...yet?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
only Jose and Fergie have ever won back to back PL's so it is indeed difficult

Be awesome if Spurs won it.

Which games were influenced by referees, Billy? Apart from the Arsenal game where we were hard done by that is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where do we start....

2 offside goals v The Scammers.
Gifted penalty v Palace.
Spurs denied a certain equalising penalty.
City denied 2 other penalties at Klanfield.
Huddersfield denied a equalizing penalty for handball.
Fulham had a goal incorrectly ruled out at 0-0, and
Pool were allowed to a free kick from a moving ball against Fulham from which they scored.
Watford denied a blatant penalty at 0-0.
Allowed to score against Everton after the time was up by 2 minutes.
Offside first goal of the game against Bournemouth and Allisson let off a red card and penalty.
Wolves denied an equalizing penalty.

Etc, etc etc...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sounds like they've half made up for last season then, half way through the season. About right
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope, last season was just as bad, like every single season, Pool fans planting false studies in the media won`t change that.

How much of a loser do you have to be to list all that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Every time I see instances of blatant Pool bias, I write it down, at the end of the season the list will be considerable

Is there any other board with as many pearlers as spurs? Morespurs Sandy and Billy are hell of a trio. Especially when you consider they also have a lot of very sensible posters

‘But with Spurs, I often get the feeling that they feel more comfortable at chasing the leading pack than if they were the ones who were leading the title race’

Absolutely spot on. They love chasing, actually delivering when it counts is completely different and that’s where they fall short. I don’t doubt they will close the gap some more but when they do the same old problems will rear their head. Remember the infamous Chelsea game? They haven’t got enough leaders

So desperate and bitter.

Saying all this though, after the (probably needed) kick up the ass and the return of KDB, City should be looking to put together another monstrous run of form

The list will also be undoubtedly biased against us.

People are far too quick to write City off because they have lost a couple recently. They’ll be coming right back into it, I don’t expect them to drop many more points between now and the end of the season if I’m honest.

Liverpool will win the title, City and Spurs will fight for second and Chelsea, Arsenal and us will fight for fourth.

We waited to long to get rid of Jose but we will get closer to Arsenal and Chelsea than we are now, but won't ultimately make it.
