I never thought I'd say it, but I don't think you can leave Sissoko out of the first 11 on current form. He's giving us power and speed in the middle of the park that neither Dembele or Dier do. Dembele is one of the best to watch dribble, he can beat a whole team but often ends up without playing a killer ball at the end. Sissoko at the moment gives us such purpose and direction going forwards.
currently its
Lloris
Aurier Toby Vert Rose
Sissoko Winks Eriksen
Dele Kane Son
Sissoko has to be in any current first XI. Although I have changed my opinion a lot over the past year or so, and I don`t think Spurs really do have a best XI anymore, they have lots of players now of similar ability.
Lloris
Toby Sanchez Jan
Trippier Dier Rose
Eriksen Ali Son
Kane
This ignores the current form of players like Winks and Sissoko - I just think player for player that’s our best 11.

I don’t really look at it as “the best 11”. We have such a solid and flexible squad with a great mix of youth and experience.
Whoever Poch decides is our starting 11 I would expect 3 points. Gone are the days we would fear a couple of key injuries.
Onwards & upwards.

If it’s current then Dembele wouldn’t even be in contention
Depends on the opposition.
————Lloris
Aurier Toby Jan Rose
————Dier
——Sissoko-Eriksen
————Alli
———Son-Kane
But in the ‘easier’ games I think Dembele or Winks in for Dier to keep the ball moving forwards.
Amazing to think how far Sissoko has come this season, I honestly wouldn’t think of dropping him at the moment.
If we’d signed Ndombele and he’d played like Sissoko has most would be claiming it’s the signing of the season.

This but in a diamond
In the 16/17 season I remember us having a ridiculously strong starting XI, supplemented by a weak squad. Bar Son, anybody on the bench was significantly weaker than whoever was in our starting team
Nowadays, it's very difficult to name our best XI, but the drop off in quality on the bench is much less and so it doesn't matter so much
Gazzaniga replacing Lloris isn't really a big deal
All four fullbacks are constantly rotated, on neither side is one player much better than the other
Sanchez can step in for Toby or Jan easily (remember Wimmer?)
Our best midfield is impossible to name. Sissoko and Winks have the recent form, but Dier and Dembele at their best were a great partnership. You've even got Wanyama in the mix if he ever gets himself fit and firing (unlikely I know)
Our best front 4 is pretty clear, but Lucas and Lamela are more than adequate replacements
This has massively helped us with fixture congestion, constant injuries, etc
