Well it’s been 6 years since the bears beat Celtic over 90 minutes. Hope they enjoy their win. They were the better team on the day and thoroughly deserved it. It brings them a bit of compfort and they can hold on to that blanket as Celtic win the league. π
Not sure we will win the league. We are in a title race big time.
They should enjoy it they won on merit.
As for us we clearly have an away day sickness issue. 18 points dropped this season all of them away from home. To win the league we will have to rid ourselves of that sickness. Thankfully in January we have 3 home league games and a home cup game so they have the best part of a month to get ready for the next away game.
Yesterday showed up our deficiencies big time....particularly RB, Gordon with baΔΊl at his feet & CM when Brown and Ntcham play together so sure well noted by the manager who will know he got it wrong also nobody saw that team and were happy unless they were in blue...well beaten on the day...expect the huge over reaction on both sides....it's the way it is!

I certainly think so, we know how to play with Celtic and how to deal with them, their players didn't expect it and didn't know how to cope with it.
A high pressing game, with in your face winning possession , Iv watched Mosni , ian black and Pena and Iv never seen anyone so out of their depth as Scott brown yesterday π
Watch Celtic kick on from losing the league yesterday. All wee diddy teams have their day at some point.

Not that he’s good enough anyway mind
It's pretty much undeniable there's a title race on at this point. We can probably through Killie in the mix too as the position they're in after 21 games is no fluke given their 'calander year' form. Although you'd still expect them to fall away at some point.
Come March it should be more clear where we stand as whenever a team really pulls away it's usually over that period.
Ball is in Celtic’s court, despite the result yesterday.
Hopefully, it’s a wake up call to the board, the management and the players for the rest of the season.

It’s the bloody manager who needs the wake up call. And he’s been getting it for some months now but chosen to ignore it.
I genuinely think it’s sheer arrogance now.
Joking aside I do not think the gers have the consistency to put together a run of wins that can trouble celtic. Giving that type of commitment every week v the Hamiltons and dundee are needed.
Sadly we drop too many silly points
Think it’s more misplaced trust or loyalty. Trusting players able to do the job required, or being too loyal to them.
One big criticism I have of him is over the goalkeeping position. I think Gordon is a good goalkeeper, but horrendous with the ball at his feet. Yet Rodgers insists on making him and the team play this way. We lose possession constantly as a result.
Bain, for me, isn’t as good a goalkeeper, but is better playing the ball out from the back. He has to compromise on something there.

The defence is much more settled with Bain in goal. Seems obvious to me.
Yeah.
Agree on Bain tbh. Far better distribution.
Everyone can see Gordon isn't the type of keeper that is going to play out from the back, but without him yesterday it could have been embarrassing.
Why do we insist on playing out from the keeper when it puts us under unneccessary pressure? It's not like we're even good at it and you can point at others like Boyata and Brown for that too, not just Gordon. Especially when it comes to big games it just causes more problems than it's worth and is more of a dogmatic approach than a sensible one.
If Rodgers want to play like that he has to play the right team i.e. Bain > Gordon, Ajer > Boyata, McGregor > Brown but he obviously feels that weakens us too much, which again begs the question. Why do it?
Just saw that Rogic didn't even make Australia bench. Top trolling.

Oh dear. That’ll sour relationships. I was actually on board with the Australian FA but that’s not good at all leaving him on the bench after having made such a fuss.
If that’s the style of play he’s determined to have, then he has to play Bain. I still think Gordon is the better keeper though.

Think the first Asia cup game isn’t until 7th jan or something - this is just a friendly so it makes sense he isn’t involved after travelling.
