He wasnt fantastic he was busy and industrial there was a stat earlier showing passing stats and he was top by a distance..however the majority of those were 5 yarders usually with his back to goal and passing away from the target

THIS. Clearly you didn't watch the game Devil. All he does is 5 yard passes!? He created naf all and if anything he slowed the game down at times. He's slower than Fabregas which is unbelievable and I think he's miles off Fabregas' creativity.
Re midfield in general - yeah we do lack creativity Fabregas has gone now..we should have looked at the following players when they were available
Siggurdsson - who is now extremely good at Everton
Shaqiri utter bargain at Liverpool for £12m
Vardy 2 years ago when we bought Kante
Didn't think Jorginho was that bad today, he controlled most of the game and made some vital interceptions and challenges to stop their counter. He does overplay at times but he's not the problem.
Imagine we had other players that could help Hazard in the other front two positions, we'd be fine. Our problem is we don't kill games and it's 1-0 for too long and we haven't always got the ability to hold out for the 1-0.
If we had a striker that could score and the other winger contribute from time to time we'd solve a lot of our problems.

RLC is seriously not that good, I've seen him so many times now and he's just not cut out to be a top player. He won't last I guarantee it.
Jorginho has been awful, he just has, I can't remember the last good game he had, it was back in October I think
So to recap, you need to improve 3 positions? That's it? You moan constantly and question whether the philosophy itself works but have arrived at the conclusion that you need 3 players?

We need a goalscoring midfielder to go with Kante and Jorginho cause let's face it, Jorginhos staying for a few years now.
We need someone to replace Willian and maybe Pedro aswel if he wants out, I like Pedro and it's a shame he got injured and not Willian
And obviously before we do those replacements we need a striker. I don't care how much we pay but we need to get a bl00dy striker in this team because Morata is a complete waste of time

But this is my criticism of Sarri! He would rather play Morata over Giroud so Giroud doesn't get much game time however we look like a better team when Giroud plays.
Willian desperately needs to go, 2 goals is a disgrace and also every single time I see him play he's half asleep, he was like it today. Players passing him the ball and he's slow to react almost everytime, it's like his minds on something else.
You genuinely need to re-evaluate how you rate midfielders if you place Barkley over RLC.
RLC beats Barkley hands down in terms of passing, dribbling ability, ball-control, press-resistance, strength and pace. The only qualities I'd say Barkley has over him are shooting ability and defensive awareness (and the difference isn't even that big).
Jorginho is a player who will probably appear to get better as the players around him get more used to playing Sarri's way. After all, he was basically brought in to be the lynch-pin of the system. His best qualities are positioning and passing. So it makes sense that if his teammates don't also occupy the right spaces he'll be less effective.

I thought today was his worst game in a chelsea shirt. But I am on your side in regards to jorgino, great player who is key to what we are trying to do.
Today though = woeful
I hope to god I never have to see him in a Chelsea shirt again and we do the loan deal with Milan for Higuain. Don't focus on Higuain, focus on the fact we don't have to watch Morata anymore.

It's like the possession statistic. It's utterly ridiculous. I'd rather have 20% possession and win 1-0 than have endless boring 5 yard passes and bore everyone to death and win 1-0

You don't have a clue, sorry but you don't. The reason Palace got next to zero counters on us today was the control he excused in the center of the pitch, anytime a players under pressure they pass it to Jorginho, he's always in the right place to receive it and that five yard pass keeps us ticking in possession. Got a little shaky in the last 10 minutes but the first 80 he was almost flawless.
His role in the team is very misunderstood. People expect him to be KDB or something when that's not his game, he's too deep in the field. It's not his responsibility to unlock teams in the final third, that's the job of the five players ahead of him.

Well to start, Luiz does not get plastered every single game, so you can stop trying to spin that lie. It is however not incorrect to say that he is prone to serious mistakes more often than is helpful if you want to describe him as a great player rather than a good player.
Secondly, if you chose to believe RLC is not up to standard and Barkley is, then fine, or if you think Jorginho is $hat, then that’s also your opinion and you’re quite rightly entitled to it, I may laugh at it from the comfort of my settee but you’re still entitled to it.
Thirdly, if you want to be taken seriously, then don’t go and make statements such as 'Anyone who wants *Insert name of player* out of the club simply doesn't understand football', as if you’re the next coming of Brian Clough, which quite clearly you’re not.
I’m sure you’re a decent lad Van Ban but please stop making out that you’re the font of all knowledge where football is concerned and everyone else is some sort of numpty, not fit to have an opinion.
I can remember 3-4 times he played inaccurate balls under no pressure, for the type of player he is and his role is why I thought he was just average. He should be aiming for literally 100% pass accuracy with any passes on ground over 5-15 yards.

He did have more than a few misplaced passes today but then again he was not alone in that, even Hazard misplaced more easy passes than I'd like!
