Fully agree with you here. Wanted to force you to make a statement. If I would have made that comment some would have come back to me and saying I hate him which isnt the case.

Until we get the personnel that can stop a goal being conceded by us when he have an attacking corner - everyone else is excused.

Torreira, Sokratis, and Lichtsteiner - not to mention Leno - were all bought in during the last transfer window.
Xhaka and Mustafi are apparently undroppable under Emery, meaning he presumably rates them. Bellerin remains highly rated beyond even that.
Are the ridiculous number of soft goals we're conceding this season therefore really just down to the players?
Lichtsteiner was not brought in to play in the PL, he was brought in for the early rounds of the Europa and the domestic cups.

Mr. Emery is a risk taker and whoever he buys in the back four and whoever he plays in front of them we will overcommit in our play. But we have to see who he brings in.

Injuries don't help. We had close to our whole backline out 3 of the last five years and that was never allowed as an excuse for not reaching the top four. The managers do have to take the blame when players like Jones are known for being injury prone.

Yeah, but United are on their 4th manager since Fergie left and still floundering despite the money spent. United are very much the example of not what to do when trying to replace a long serving manager.

No he wasn't. He said he would get United top 4 by now. He lost games and drew games and got the sack.

It was possible if a top manager like Solskjaer was in charge. We just needed the 24 points lol. Even LVG won at the Etihad and Anfield in his last season so getting the points with our side was possible. Mourinho himself also got a win at the Etihad and draw there and draws at Anfield so it was possible.
Yeah he was wrong but it was possible.
