Things would probably be okay if the players we have could stay fit for longer periods of time, but Dembele and Wanyama cannot be relied upon, they come back play a few times get injured again both so brittle.
we should have a bet on when the next window will be that we actually sign someone.... I'm going with Jan 2020
Do we have any issues with that homegrown quota thing ?

You are way to negative you must have been listening to spurtle for too long.
I agree with chronic, levy has bought some right duds recently
I would definitely keep Dembele. He is capable of coming back and giving us a few more great games.
Wanyama is finished though. Hopefully there is a Chinese bidder out there because nobody else will pay more than £5m for him now.

I'm half joking but sometimes u gotta call it like it is. Cant see us bidding for guys like Rabiot when the best we have managed in 12 months is a half baked, low ball bid for Grealish & Villa laughed at us & told us to fack off

Sorry Mate...... This I just don't get. Dembele has been saying for past 12 months he's not up to the physicality of prem league football & now he's picking up the LT injuries to prove it. 12 months ago he was a monster (when fit) but this year he got overun when he played. As much as we all love him as player (Despite the fact his actual stats are dog shlt).... you gotta know when to freshen it up..... He's the prime example. Not selling Dembele (hopefully for something half decent) doesn't help us long term. We must stop overpricing players we need to sell simply to fluff levy's ego as the "master negotiator"... It hurts us on the field.
This was always the problem with our transfer policy, you cant have manager like Poch running his players into the ground in training & in games (Making them one of the fittest teams around) & not recycle the squad..... This year its all come home to roost with all the injuries .... its no coincidence
Scary thing right now is that it feels like Kane is pretty much the only player not to have suffered time out injured...... Touch wood
The issue now is that we'll get so little for those players.
Dembele is injured.
Wanyama is injured.
Llorente is old.
Janssen is injured and hasn't played.
N'Koudou can be found for in every league for £3m.
Dembele is out of contract in 6 months. We won't get any more than £5m for him. Would much rather keep him in the hope we can get a swansong out of him.
I think after this injury break he might come back in beast mode
Keep Mousa in the hope we can get 8/10 games out of him, and sell the rest at knock down prices, it’s better we sell them rather than having them doing zilch.
It appears Eriksen is keeping his options open by not signing a new deal at Spurs, in the summer he will be gone if one of the overseas power clubs show an interest, if not, then he will sign another contract with Spurs, I doubt he will be moving anywhere in January.
There is a big summer coming up for us, doubts over Toby and Eriksen, Dembele and Llorente out of contract, Wanyama broken and Janssen and GKN basically frozen out.
i hear ya.... you're right about his value, forgot about his contract length......a beast mode swan song in the league cup would be fantastic !!! fingers crossed

what happened to Wanyama ??? was a mainstay for 18 months and then DONE.... it was almost as though he came off the juice and his body just gave up on him... always had my suspicions.... a monster of a bloke
We'll try and ship out Janssen and NDooDoo
No new signings
Tottenham Hotspur have serious interest in bringing young Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen to north London in the January transfer window, football.london understands.
New signing possibly 🤔
