Do they not have a Liverpool board any more ?
Every Spurs article I read has infestations of Mousers, poor homeless lambs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Same on the Liverpool board with Spurs fans. As Ace pointed out, its back and forth constantly.
Was a good game to watch.
Liverpool played really well, but it was must win for City and they just wanted it more.
Be interesting to see how Liverpool react to the defeat in the coming games.
Brighton away and Palace at home are both potential banana skins.

Every game is a potential banana skin, as City themselves have shown.

Brighton are picking up a lot of points, especially against the bigger clubs.
Palace beat City 2-3 away. Palace have also found sound form recently.
I'd say they're the worst *lesser* teams to be playing right now...

I'm sorry Sandy, but I think your assessment is totally ridiculous.
First off, Kompany should have had a red card and been off the pitch before City ever scored.
Bad refereeing there, but of course, that's home team advantage.
Second, Pool were very unlucky not to score from the get go. How that ball missed going in by 1cm as replays showed, is unbelievable - just a tad of spin and its in.
That said, its was a terrific game and so good to see two teams who didn't fool around at the back with flat passes sideways and backways as Spurs do, but just went upfield from the get go.
City are a very good team and now its a race for the title.
Perhaps you fancy Spurs chances?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing wrong with that tackle at all, Salah had it coming for all his diving antics. That was a Dave Mackay special.
Spurs don't fool around with back passes Ted, they have scored more goals than Liverpool this season, and have scored 15 goals in their last four games, teams that just do back passes, don't score that many goals. Have a rethink.
Spurs have always been in a title race.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs do seem to do a lot of sideways and backways passing. Lots of posters on here complain about it.
The players who look to go forward consistently are Sissoko, Alli, Kane, Eriksen, Lemela and Alderweireld.
Our backs particularly are pissers about sideways - except Danny Rose, when he plays. Sanchez too is a bit of a pisser about. There are others I could mention, Dier perhaps?
I was struck by the Pool v Mancity match, how little pisssing about there was compared with Spurs matches.

We do a lot of sideways and backwards passing also. Teams who play football like Liverpool, City and Spurs do have to do that. If teams come to camp in their box and they're disciplined, the only way to get through, apart from long range shots, is to move them out of position and wait for the gap. This is what the managers tell the players to do.
