The Beast, even though perhaps I thought last night`s game may be a draw, I always bet on Spurs to win every game, and also Kane to score every game, not the first goal, just to score. So I won a couple of quid as well.

Good defensive performance from Spurs, Alderweireld is a colossus. Best CB in the league imo.

We lack cutting edge in the final 3rd, Someone who will score a tap and someone for Hazard to really play off efficiently. Hopefully Higuain gets signed before the return leg.

It was a good match, Some hard but fair challenges.

What's with the top tier at Wembley being closed? Is it League Cup rules or down to ticket not being sold?

Think we’re only allowed 5 full capacity games so last night was restricted to 51k ( take segregation out it’s about 48k )

Game was supposedly sold out last night, but official crowd was only a little over 44,000, I didn`t see many, if any, empty seats. So not sure how they come up with a crowd 7,000 short of what was supposed to be a 51,000 sell out.

Only allowed a few full capacity games this season. Something to do with the local Brent Council and noise and crowd control around the Wembley area. Nonsense really. Top tier is open for the United game though, so should be close to 80,000 for that game.

The two tiers only sold out on Sunday so no need to open a third tier

Even when you opened all 3 tiers for City Inter and Chelsea games, you could not manage more than 57k.

So obssesed ffs

It’s common knowledge that this season lots of Spurs fans including myself have boycotted going to Wembley.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Funny how you 'boycotted' Southampton (33000)
but briefly renounced the boycott for Barca (80k)

Surely tickets are on restricted general sale, so UNited fans would need a Spurs reg to buy tickets

Did United really get 10k into the league game last season?

The top tier were only open to existing season ticket holders for those areas, in those games, no tickets were sold, other than to existing season ticket holder so they can have their usual seat in the top tier.

Nonsense, the gate will be 80,000 plus looking at the Spurs website, and United will only have 3,000. You have to be registered on the Spurs website to get tickets in the Spurs end.
